Not on pain meds as of today. Really the back pain is the worst of it as I have a bad back anyhow. Not much drainage and see the doctor for the first time tomorrow. Still sleeping in recliner and don't know what I would do without the walker. As of today I'm trying to move more. I'll be honest, it's not fun and games. Be patient and take it one day at a time.

4 days post-op.

4 days post-op. Finally went to the bathroom so that's much better. Not really in pain so switched to Tylenol this afternoon. Very light draining and not sure when next appointment is. Nothing seems to really be bothering other than ready to feel normal again. I know, patience.

I am 60 years old and have been wanting a Tummy Tuck for awhile now. I have recently (8 months ago) moved to Southern California from Houston and this forum was so great for checking out Doctor reviews. I love my Houston Doctor but really want to be able to recoup at home. Dr. Pousti, out of San Diego will be doing my Tummy Tuck and Implant Exchange (saline to silicone) and I am so excited. Loved his office staff and how comfortable he makes you feel. Not nervous at all. I have hired a suggested nurse to stay with my SO and I at the hotel the night after surgery. We live an hour away and he likes you to stay local if you live farther than 30 minutes away. Lift recliner will be delivered today and I bought a used walker. My back isn't great, so I anticipate being glad I have that. I am not a pill taker and HATE how I feel on pain pills, so avoid them. I figure on day 3 or 4 I'll be ready to be off of them. Famous last words, right?! Ha! I'll let you know how that goes. When I had my original Breast Augmentation 9 years ago, I only took Tylenol with no pain at all. I'll try and be good about updates as it's really been helpful reading the detailed ones on here.

So excited for you!! I have a consult scheduled with him in three weeks. Tummy tuck revision, kind of, and a breast aug after having a reduction and lift 19 months ago with a different doctor. Good luck!! Please keep us posted with your progress and pictures.
Will do!
You look great happy healing
