Day 10
$1,400
It is now day 10 and the shooting pains appear to be gone :) My stomach is still a bit tinder to the touch and not fully back to normal but I would say it is about 70-80% better than it was a week ago. Now just waiting to see if the pain and money I spent have been worth it.

Day 6
So I only posted a day / day and a half ago. Last night I actually thought some of the soreness in my lower abs might be going away. That was until at about 3:45am I had numerous sharp stomach pains that woke me up - I could not go back to sleep for the next hour :( Oh god how long is this going to last???

Did you get the Neurontin?
Another night of broken sleep due to the stomach pain... called in and spoke to the office apparently due to another medication I am on they cannot prescribe me any nerve specific medication such as Neurontin. They will be giving me a prescription for Percocet today - hoping this helps :)
It's only gonna get you high. Ask your regular Dr for Neurontin.
That's not true! Percocet is a very effective pain killer. It only makes you high if you take too much! It's a fantastic pain killer. Too bad druggies have ruined it for normal people that need it for pain, because it works!
Thanks for your posts. I like reading to see if this procedure would b for me.
You are welcome - I wish I would have read up more on this before I started the proceedure. I cannot say for sure (at least just not yet) if I would recommend this or not. It sounds like there are some other folks out there that have had a harder time than I but this has been more painful than I expected or was told it would be. Due to another medication I am on I cannot take any nerve specific medication at this time. The office will be prescribing me Percocet today - I will post back to all if this works.
God luck. I hope it helps. Can u wear regular clothes or r u in the moo moo zone?

So unfortunately I do not have any before...
So unfortunately I do not have any before proceedure photos - those were taken at the office and I have been told that I will get a copy of the before and after pictures at my 3 month checkup. The picture I have posted is a photo of my lower abs after the proceedure - my belly is visable swollen.
So I had done a lot of reading of reviews prior to the proceedure - I think I went in expecting the worst. The proceedure itself was not to bad. Not comfortable but bearable. The massage afterwards was probably the worst part.
It has only been 5 days - the swelling for the most part has gone done as much as I can tell. But the pain - the daily pain - has yet to go away. While I have never been punched in the stomach I imagine this is what it might feel like. I have not been able to resume any sort of workout just yet as it hurts even just walking. I have a trip planned that starts 10 days from now and I am really hoping this daily pain goes away before that - I think I should have done this a month ago instead of too close to my trip. I have read so many things, like the itching, the sharp pains, and such that I am also worried I will get those while traveling - fingers crossed I am one of the lucky ones and I don't get too much of that. I will report back in after my trip hopefully with some good news. And will post before and after photos when I get them.

If you're 5 days out, I wouldn't expect it to get much worse. Get a script for Neurontin, a nerve-blocker, since most experience defrosting nerve pain at around the time you're at.
Oh thank you for the feedback!!! I truely appricate it. I so hope you are right and this is the worst of it.
