I Have Been Wanting This for YEARS!!!!

It's been awhile since I updated!!! I am now seven weeks post op. I did have a small issue along the way, apparently I was doing too much and had an area at the T junction that wasn't scabbing. Dr Pousti just kept a close eye on me and I think it is coming along nicely now. I think I'm just taking a little bit longer to heal than others, no problem I have gotten this far what is another week or two ????. My family and I were going on vacation this week and I was concerned because I knew that I was not going to able to get into the pool or the river but still wanted to be in my bathing suit to soak up some sun. Dr pousti and Daisy went out of there way to see me and put some special dressings on so that my T junction was protected and I could put on a suit. They have been nothing short of AMAZING!!!!

Hey everybody, want to give a little update. Went back in for a second post op to have my drains removed. I feel like a whole new person without drains!!!! Not that they were a complete nuisance but they were just plain in the way. Actually got to wear a normal tank top today which felt amazing, definitely feel bloated though from all the bed rest. I can't wait to get to the point where I can go on a walk or get on the treadmill. This taking it easy is not me and driving me a little crazy!!!! I was worried about the cost of the procedure but they should warn you about all the potential online shopping out of boredom!! Lol. As always dr. Pousti was as pleasant as could be and full of compliments :-)....

I am sooooooooo excited for them to heal and I can see the finished results in person!!!!! I think Dr pousti nailed it from just the few wish pics that I had sent in!!!!!
