Looking back
I look back now and wish I had listened to my gut and asked more questions. I was very disappointed that after the surgery, they wanted to charge me an additional $500-1000 to remove some of the scarring that was left. They would not work with me at all on time, and there was a COMPLETE change in the way I was treated AFTER surgery, as opposed to before.
That says a lot to me.
I wish they had disclosed all costs up front and I wish they were as nice once the surgery was complete as they were before, when they were courting me as a patient.
I also do not like the location or final look of the areoles. They are not symmetrical and the edges are not nice circles like you would want.
Additionally, he took the liberty of putting in a much larger implant size than I wanted and even though that was really fun right at first, and he did a hard sales job on my husband afterward, I now want a reduction when I go in to get the scars removed that he won’t make time for, and the areoles reshaped.
Additionally, he should have placed the nipples higher.
I noticed on his photos that I thought his nipple placement was low and I mentioned this to hi prior to surgery. I could tell he didn’t really listen. I should have trusted my gut.
The whole staff is just trained today sell you so hard, and former patients are even used to convince you what you want. You become convinced you got what you wanted even if you didn’t.
I’ve had a couple more procedures since without the whole sales production and I am much happier with the results from those. I learned a lot.
