I am super excited I'm a week and one day away from my surgery can't wait to have my new and improved twins. I had considered having this procedure for about 5 years. After I had my two beautiful children I decided it was time. I was small before having my kiddos and my breasts grew a ton with pregnancy, but after it was all said and done, they looked horrible! (as you can see in the before pictures)

I am 3 days post op. all things considered I feel good; a little sore but mainly form sleeping so elevated. The day of surgery was super exciting and everyone there was amazing. They make you feel so comfortable and they let my husband stay with me till the last minute. When I woke up, I was a little nauseous, and that whole day I was in and out of sleep. Next day was much better; just sore and pressure in my chest. Third day felt much better; still have moments when there is pressure but way better I dont even have to take my pain meds. Overall great experience and I can't wait till I can see them.

Great!!! Thank you for updating. I am a 34 D and looking to have a lift with a small reduction (I have spillage on the sides ugh!) and have implants put in for a more fuller top and roundness.

Yeah my breasts were super soft after my kiddos. After the procedure it is like day and night. Defiantly recommend it.

You look fantastic. I too went for the same procedure on the 5th October. It is a pain sleeping on your back but its totally going to be worth it. Keep looking after yourself.

My God, you look great!!!! I'm taking your photos to my ps- perfect size and shape. How many cc's, saline or silicone, profile? Your before looks exactly like mine-scheduled in Dec.
October 14, 2012
Thanks, I love them!!:)

Did you do a lollipop incision? How tall are you? These probably seem like silly questions, but want all the info since your results are my goal! ( or close...)
October 15, 2012
...And have you had anyone notice at work, or socially. Do you feel self conscious, or because you were a good size before do they look pretty much the same?
October 15, 2012
No I had the while anchor incision. I'm 5'5. No silly questions if I can help you out. Keep asking.

I really haven't been out with friends yet so dont know that reaction. But, they do look bigger and they are full up top which I didn't have before clearly;). I'm not self conscious about being a walking pair of boobs. For me they are perfect.

Be careful What you Wish For...

After posting my first post a few years ago I was extremely happy and eager to show off my new twins. So writing this review is extremely important to me. It has taking me some time to write this but I feel like I should let people know that not all that glitters is gold. Months after my original surgery which was a breast lift and augmentation things went south. My implants completely bottomed out hanging low and sagged worse than before. To the point where you can feel the implant separate from the skin and pull it apart. My nipples expanded and I once again became unhappy with my breasts.
After a visit to Dr. Pousti, he explained what had happened he sympathized with me and said it was necessary to have a second procedure. The second procedure was to for an internal bra to keep implants in place.
I agreed and quickly booked my next procedure (another $2500). I was excited at the second chance to pick my twins out. Again procedure was quick and everyone at the surgery center was super friendly and accommodating to all my needs. To my disappointment after only 4 months when all the swelling reduces and implants start to settle. My breast again became depressingly disappointing. Not only was my second procedure more painful it was pointless. I took more time off to avoid any hiccups, I was extra careful, and I kept my arms to my side longer than recommended. Followed every instruction and direction that they gave me to insure success.
Still that made no difference, one of my nipples expanded once more. My breast are at an all-time low, bottoming out and stretching my skin out. Making my overall appearance worse. Again, you can not only feel the implants but you can also see them under my skin as the ripple and move. My breast feel half breast and half bags of water. This has completely destroyed my feeling of being sexy.
I was extremely disappointed with the follow up as well. Dr. Pousti has always been professional and realistic with all of his work and expectations in the moment. Unfortunately, the follow up in my second procedure was disappointing. I had to cancel one of my appointments and reschedule for a later date they said they would call me to set a different date. Till this day I have not received that call back but, when there is a contest or a vote needed for the doctor to win an award they call multiple times. They are more interested in his professional glory than patient’s satisfaction. As a result of his staff deliberate solicitation for positive reviews it skews readers to believe results are different then they may actually be. I feel like they really don’t care about you unless you love the doctor. I never got an email or call regarding my wellbeing or the state of my procedure.
Not only did I spend over $10,000, I wasted time, pain, and two botched procedures to be exactly back to where I started. I don’t like my breast and I didn’t feel supported by the team of people that I paid to be on my side. I know that I wasn’t going to have perfect breast but I expected more. I am extremely disappointed!!!

Thank you for coming back with a follow up, I'm sure that must of been hard to do. Hang in there and keep us posted.
September 12, 2015
That stinks. Sorry that happened to you. Will you try again to have them corrected? If you do seek out a PS who does reconstructive surgeries (like after breast cancer) and has photos to show of correcting bottoming out. Best wishes to you.
September 12, 2015
Yes I will get it corrected hopefully here in the near future. Still really looking for a PS that I feel like I can trust. But I will keep everyone posted. And yes I will have to find more of a reconstructive surgeon because they have stretched my skin out so much.

I do know what it is like. About 13 years ago I had fat put in my lips, over time the fat has grown and my lips are huge and uneven. So I'm flying to Dallas on the 21st for a lip reduction/correction from a Dr who specializes in it. Once burned it is scary to trust again.
September 13, 2015
Thanks Cathy! I will post in lip reduction section if you want to check it out, my before pics are already there.

Consider Dr. Scott Spear at Georgetown University. He does cancer reconstruction, but also symastia and bottoming out repair- Two very difficult complications to successfully repair. He repaired me 10 years ago. He perfected the repair and now teaches how to repair. At the time of my repair, he was the president of the ASPS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQdlpYF60bQ

That is terrible and heart breaking. Im so sorry for what you've been through and thank you for sharing your story. It's good to know what can happen even w a full lift. I regret my breast aug with benelli style lift more than anything that I had done 7 months ago. Wondering if I switch to a lollipop lift that will fix some of the problems I'm having, like drooping right back to sagging worse than they were originally, extreme lateral displacement and ugly scars on my nipples. I'm in the depressed, hopeless not knowing what to do space. I just wish I could have my presurery mom boobs back! They were far from perfect, but they looked a lot better than the things on my chest now. I know I have to come to a point of acceptance, but I feel like it's a long way off for me. I'm a single mom who works full time and is a full time student, I don't have the time or the money for another surgery. Can't believe I got myself into this mess.
October 16, 2015
I know exactly how you feel. Thank you for sharing your story with me!! I was depressed for a while too try not to let this keep you down. we can't change the mistakes that were made we can only share our expirances so that others don't go through the same thing. Stay strong!!
October 16, 2015
Thank you, that's good advice. I need to get passed wishing I could go back in time and make a different choice. I think I would have done something, but a different surgeon and definitely no lift. Had my surgeon told me I would get a 1-2 cm lift in exchange for destroying my areolas, I would have said no way! That's the worst, is that these results are permanent. Like I cut my long hair short and regretted it so much, all the while knowing "someday" it would grow back. Too bad I can't hope the same for my breasts lol! So sad, to end up worse off as a result of vanity.

I'm so glad I read this. I went in Dr Pousti office yesterday and set up a appointment for revision on my nipples Nov 3rd. They're all spread out. It's been a years since my surgery. This makes me sad. I'm really worried now :((
October 16, 2015
Oh no! don't be worried I'm sure you'll be fine. I had a lot going on in my surgeries and maybe because your procedure is more focused it will be a better experience than mine. Good luck and please keep us posted on how you do. :)

Dr Pousti replaced my bags of 14 years and did internal bra. I had a lot done too. My areolas scar look horrible and spread out. Why do you think I'm going to be ok it you weren't ?? I watch all the YouTube videos and they can be fixed and I pray he does a great job because I already paid for it. Two of my friend went to other doctor for consultations because of the scars. I'm praying
Hi there,
I don't see your before pictures, but would love to. Please send me a PM if you're having trouble posting them. You're up next week already. Woo-hoo! What sort of implants are you going with?
Oh, yep. You need to be on a laptop or PC for now to upload photos.
