3 weeks post implant removal and mastopexy

Swelling is starting to really decrease. Still wearing my compression bra around the clock. Very tender on the lateral sides of both breasts and nipples are hyper sensitive. Made it through a full week of work but still get pretty tired by the end of the day. Overall pretty happy with the results. Scars are already fading and starting to flatten. Pretty pleased with that.

Before implant removal and 7 days post op

& days post-op, still have the drains, will be glad when they come out. Purchased a lanyard to keep them out of the way, definitely recommend it for anyone that has to have drains. Overall very little pain, most of it is around the drain sites. Manageable with just tylenol. Overall, pretty pleased with the results. Will have to wait and see what the final result will be when the swelling goes down.

I had my 350ml saline subpectoral implants removed...

I had my 350ml saline subpectoral implants removed after 8 years. They were heavy and too large for my 5'3" 115lb small frame. After years of chronic neck and back pain, frequent trips to the chiropractor and looking dowdy and top heavy I decided it was time for them to go. I was fortunate to have them removed at the Naval Hospital in San Diego. The surgeon repaired the pectoral muscle as well and injected the area with Exparel ( a long acting liposomic marcaine). The pain has been manageable with just extra strength tylenol every 8-12 hours. The greatest discomfort is really from the two drains that I have in. Was sent home with Norco and 5 days of Clindamycin. Haven't taken any of the narcotic! Will post pics soon.
