My husband and I spent months researching the top...
My husband and I spent months researching the top breast augmentation surgeons. We were prepared to travel anywhere if we had to. After researching plastic surgeons, we decided to meet with Dr. Pousti. We travelled to San Diego from Las Vegas for a consult. Dr. Pousti spent a great deal of time with both myself and my husband. He answered all of our questions and concerns. I brought photos with me to my consultation, so that Dr. Pousti had a good understanding of what type of look I wanted. I knew that I wanted to go large prior to seeing Dr. Pousti. After meeting with Dr. Pousti and his staff, I knew that I wanted him to do my breast augmentation. We scheduled my surgery that same day. I booked the surgery for December 13th, 2013.
My surgery experience:
We drove back to San Diego on December 12th for my pre-op consultation. Dr. Pousti again answered my questions. My surgery was on December 13th, 2013. I actually felt calm and relaxed prior to my surgery. I have had numerous surgeries prior to my breast augmentation surgery, and I can honestly say that I never felt as calm as I did going into this surgery. My husband and I both commented on how Dr. Pousti and his surgical team were calm and professional (This is important to me as I am a RN myself). I had my surgery done and received excellent post op care. We went back to our hotel that afternoon, and I actually felt pretty good. I was tender, yet I was aware of the importance of moving my legs. I begged my husband to take me for a walk that same evening. I heard from friends that they had a great deal of pain and that they were on their back for a week. To be honest, I was not that uncomfortable. I was tender for a week, however, I felt better moving around on my feet.
Results:
I had saline implants done. 890cc's on the right and 860cc's on the left. I asked for a round, full look. Dr. Pousti was able to give me the look that I wanted:). We saw Dr. Pousti again on my third post-op day. Everything went well, and his staff again were amazing. I received excellent follow up care. I think I received a call everyday for a week from either Dr. Pousti or a staff member. I was told that I could call anytime if I had any questions or concerns. I did not have any concerns and my husband who is also a RN, took excellent care of me after my BA.
I am now 1 month out exactly since my breast augmentation. I couldn't be happier with the results. I saw Dr. Pousti last week and it seems as though I am healing well. It felt odd throwing away my 34 A bras and replacing them with 34 DDD bras. Odd, in a happy way that is!!! I am extremely happy with how I look now. I have no regrets at all!!! I am okay with people looking at me and asking me if my breasts are fake. I truly believe that having this BA, has boosted my self image and confidence. I teach nursing currently, and I have had previous students compliment me on my new breasts.
This was the best thing that I have ever done!!!

Dr. Pousti is awesome!!! He answered all my questions and concerns. He was able to give me the look I wanted based on the pictures I showed him. He and his office staff are extremely professional and kind. I did a great deal of research in finding the best plastic surgeon to do my BA. I knew I wanted Dr. Pousti to do my BA, within the first few minutes of talking to him. He spent a great deal of time with me before and after my surgery. I received excellent care from day one!!!
