Postponed surgery
$15,500
I had to cancel my surgery because I ended up getting the job! I start in like 2 weeks.
I'm a little bummed but it's ok. I'm gonna be going through a lot of intense and physically (and mentally) demanding training so the timing just wouldn't be right. I plan to reschedule once I pass probation.
Also, it's probably for the best anyway. Kinda not doing so great emotionally and I've been having a difficult time. Trying to snap out of it.

Getting closer and...
I'm really excited. Dr. Pousti and his staff are so awesome! They arranged for me to speak with 2 patients that recently had mommy makeovers and a lot of my questions were answered. Both were pleased with their results and are recovering just fine.
I'm super excited but now I'm a bit freaked out because I just interviewed for a promotion. If I get the job, I'll probably have to reschedule/postpone my surgery! :(
I already have a pretty physical job (I work in a juvenile detention center) but I could get modified assignment post op. If I get this promotion, it's a whole new probationary period I have to get through and I wouldn't want to jeopardize anything by getting elective surgery and then requesting time off. Also I know from experience Dr. Pousti wouldn't want me to be in a position where my safety and recovery is at risk. Well, I guess it's really a matter of the waiting game at this point. I just want to make sure I can reschedule without any extra fees. But who knows if I'll even get the job. Uggghhh!

Locked in a nurse!
So Dr Pousti requires all of his tummy tuck patients to have a nurse 24 hrs post op.
So glad I got that taken care of because I was freaking out. I had called a couple of other nurses or agencies and nobody got back to me:/
So when I emailed Dr Pousti, Vanessa called me and gave me the number to another nurse. And she called me back! LOL. 500 bucks and she'll be with me to monitor my vitals until 10 the next morning.
Anyway, I actually haven't been thinking about it too much or obsessively searching the net.
I'm just trying to stay consistent with my workouts and eating well. I want to be in above optimal health when its time.
Posting another before pic. Everytime I think I"don't need this" I remember why when I look at my stomach.

That's a great price. And it's nice having a professional keeping an eye on you in the beginning. I also had doubts occasionally pre-op - it's all part of the process. This is a big step and you have to really want it. I have zero regrets!
