27 Year Old Full Body Liposuction& Brazilian Butt lift. 5'4, 235 Lbs. - San Diego, CA

ORIGINAL POST

Hello. After scrolling through umpteen photos on...

WORTH IT$6,700
Hello. After scrolling through umpteen photos on Real Self and not finding women with body types like mine to compare, I've decided to do my own review of my upcoming procedure in hopes of helping other women who may be having the same problem. I'm 27, African American, 5'4, 235 lbs. I'm very muscular, upwards of over 35% muscle, 40% pure fat. I have what people today call a "box body". This means I'm shaped like a strawberry; broad shoulders, extra large breasts, gut, no hips and no behind, curvy legs. (see before photo)

So, why I want this procedure is obvious. This will be my first procedure. I have not had any pregnancies. My procedure date is Wednesday, February 4, 2015. I will post photos of the after math as soon as I am able to take the bandages and compression garment off post procedure. Feel free to email me with any questions that I have not answered here. Blessings to you!

Congrats! I had lipo to my upper/lower abs, waist and flanks by Dr. Alavi too!! It's been 2 1/2 weeks now and my back rolls are gone!! I'm still sore in some areas but that's probably from aggressive lipo in that area. My tummy is smaller and that hang over is gone. It's not as flat as I want it but dr. Alavi says I'm only 5% healed and my tummy will shrink 95% more. How do you like your bbl? I think that's what's next for me. Any pics? Don't get discouraged because the change is gradual it will come together soon.

Im kind of sad bc I think the fat cells he transfered to my butt died. =/ And my stomach still looks fat. Do you have before and after photos??
February 9, 2015
I have before and 1 week after pics. I'll post again at 3 weeks cause I wanna see the progression. Lol don't be sad my stomach still looked fat too and I swear I can still grab the fat but I can see it going down everyday. It takes time but we wanna see it NOW! Lol I'm gonna be patient until that 3 month mark cause that's when they say you see the real outcome. Its hard but let's be patient. So your bbl didn't take? Does he redo for free? I would be pissed!

You are SO encouraging! Ok, I'll be patient. Hes so nice, I really don't want to hurt his feelings or upset him. You know plastic surgeons are artists. I'll call and see if they can fix it for free. Thank you!!

I know, I had so many questions but was scared to ask only because I wanted him to feel I trusted him. Now I know to speak up and ask for excatly what I want. Lol yes call because I think they do revisions free of charge if it doesn't come out right. I'll be asking too because I have some retraction at one of the insertion sites on my pubic line. It seems like there's a tight muscle pulling in and the other side is smooth and flat.

Medications.

USC
January 26 was my post op day. I was given four medications, each to be taken 1-3 days before the procedure. This is not unique to me. These medications are required for each patient undergoing liposuction. The first medication is an anti-biotic. The second medication is a sleep aid for after the procedure. The third medication is an anti bruising natural medication that goes underneath the tongue three times a day before and after. The fourth and last medication is a pain medication. I was given a pamphlet of instructions for pre and post op. No liquid or food consumption 8 hours before the procedure the day of. No water 4 hours before. This so there are no complications with the anesthesia.

So I'm all done. Let me be frank ladies. This is the MOST excruciatingly painful thing you will ever have done, aside from giving birth. I cried once the Norco wore off.

Would you say that your BBL, hurt more than the lipo or both are equally ?
February 9, 2015
More. You can not sit down for weeks. Nor can you lay on your back.
