One week until surgery and the only time I think I have ever been this nervous was when...I think this is the most nervous I have ever been! I went "dr. Shopping" with a bunch of different doctors and I think most of them were highly qualified and would have done a great job. What set Dr. g apart was the time he spent with me and answering every question I had, no matter how stupid or asinine I thought it was. I left our initial consultation feeling very pleased and excited about what potentially was to come. More to this story later!

Ahhhh! I'm so excited. So you're in love?! That makes me feel better. Really interested in how you're feeling and recovery. Can you eat normal foods?

I was not nauseated at all. I wasn't hungry last night but I did have a peach perfection Jamba Juice and three chick fila strips. Today I had 1/2 an alternative bagel and a latte. I won't lie, I'm in a crap ton of pain but as long as I'm still it's ok. It's hard to breath deeply because the implants putting pressure but dr g said that it's totally normal . :) im excited for you! You'll do great and be so in love with your new boobs!

Man. I wonder if the pain is associated with strong chest muscles, being a lifter and all. Do you need assistance getting in and out of bed?

I updated my review if you want to read. Yes, dr g said my " well defined pec muscles" will make it more painful but also easier for him ha! I do need help getting out of bed. Not so much in, but out hurts like a Emmereffer. The pain is mostly in my ribs though. You'll be numb from a local all around your breast including the nipple. Also, Ice ice baby! Tell Dr G Dizzie says hi! ;)

5 days away and football Sunday!

Surgery is on Friday, and I had the pleasure of speaking to some ladies who had BA from the same Doctor. They eased my anxiety..a little bit. Today I'm focusing on enjoying football all day with my boyfriend and eating unfriendly waistline food! Hey you gotta live. I look forward to Sunday's because all week I work very hard as my job is very demanding and can be emotionally draining at times (I'm a director of an outpatient memory care facility). I also workout 5-6x a week, and Sunday is my day off and usually my "cheat day". Usually 1 or 2 microbrew beers and some greasy or fried food. But I keep it minimal and in moderation. I probably should be at the gym today and eating healthy since I won't be able to exercise for a few weeks but oh well. You only live once! Might as well enjoy your life...

That's nice you were able to talk with some women who also had BAs from your doctor. And, I'm glad you give yourself a weekly and much needed/deserved cheat day. ;) Feel free to join the October 2015 breast augmentation surgery forum for some additional pre and post op support. Keep us posted!

Good luck on your surgery! I hope the surgery and recovery go smoothly for you. What type/size implant did you decide on?

I am the same way. I'm better off not knowing what can happen because I am clinical ocd I will stress and freak out. Day of surgery I only allowed myself to be in the moment. I hope that helps. Good luck! I'll be thinking of you.

Had my last glass of wine last night before surgery. A bold chianti because that's my favorite. I wish I was as excited as I am nervous. I mean, I am certainly excited but course the negative Nancy in my head won't stop chatting. I have ano extremely busy day at work today so I'm hoping that will distract me. I was up last night looking at all of the awesome swimsuits I plan on buying. Hehe.
