I am going to have a Tummy Tuck and Breast Augmentation in August 15, 2014. I lost 119 lbs after gastric by pass surgery 2 years ago (from a size 24 to a 4) I am wanting to have excess skin removed. Very nervous about having the procedure done. But my mind is made up. My husband is supporting my decision and will be there to take care of me.

Getting close to your surgery date. How do you feel? I still have two months and so nervous and scared. I told my good friend this weekend and he said is this the last surgery you are going to have. Well if this makes you happy..... I had the gastric by pass surgery and a bladder sling. So don't understand why that comment was made. I didn't even tell my sister because I didn't want to hear the negative feed back. Did you encounter negative feedback from your family and friends.

Well, I just said the I am having skin removal surgery because the extra skin causes issues like infection of broken, irritated skin, rashes, etc. I haven't told very many people. It is a constant battle to keep from having those nasty yeast infections!!! I am getting a little nervous but, everytime I have to "tuck" or "stuff" that extra skin in my jeans or make sure all the boob skin is tucked in...I get over the nervousness!

Congrats on the decision. I'm here in San Antonio too, I went to Dr Robert Young. Have heard good things about your doc as well. I had a breast reduction and followed that with a TT with muscle repair. All went well. Best wishes, feel free to check out my profile, I tried to share a lot. :-DSuzy

Thanks for your comments. It's hard because I scheduled the surgery for August 15th and don't see the doctor again until the day of surgery. I also wish he would have said you are going to look great. But he didn't.
