The End of a Long Journey - San Antonio, TX

UPDATED FROM missdaisy

6 weeks post op

WORTH IT$9,250
This journey is truly coming to an end. I'm 6 weeks post op and we'll into the healing process. My incisions are looking good. I didn't have any stitches that actually popped open. I managed my pain well with a little help from medication and I took it easy for 4 weeks. Now, I'm good to go...and I'm back to my regular schedule. I still have some swelling in my thighs and butt but you can't see it on the pictures. I can fit into my clothing and hope when all the swelling goes down, I can continue to do so.

So very happy for you...your legs look great! and the incisions are amazing! Enjoy :-)
Look forward to more pics when you're feeling up to it xx
Thanks for posting your pictures!!! I get so excited seeing them...can't wait to have mine done...it's been so long coming.
I found the recovery to be long, but worth it. I decided to take the time I needed to heal...it took about 4 weeks. I didn't want any mishaps or redo's. Equipment I found to be most helpful were female urinal (freshette), raised potty seat, walker and recliner. I'm still not 100% healed, but I'm back to my regular routine. This has by far been my roughest recovery, hands down. I know you will be happy with your results as well...good luck to you on your next journey.
Thanks for the info...
Wow Peter did an amazing job!!
Yes, he did!!!!! Thank you.
Wow you look awesome. You have legs of a teenager now. Did you say you had gotten something done to your butt also? I am so impressed. I really hope when I'm 62 I will care this much about my looks. You look awesome.
Thank you, sometimes I think I've lost my mind. Lol
Yes, my butt was lifted as well.
Thanks. My thighs and butt are still swollen, but I'm very pleased. I will definitely post when I'm ALL healed.

Doing great, very little pain. Stayed in hospital 2 nights. Going to the bathroom (w/walker) alone. Getting in and out of recliner by myself as well. I had a pain pump and I came home with 4 drains that are draining very little fluids. I had a couple of complications while in the hospital...low blood pressure and high fever 102.2. I'm doing fine now and having goof days. Sleeping well and following the doctors post op instructions. Im pleasantly surprised at this moment that Im doing so well. I'm swollen and my incisions are very tight. Small price to pay for such excellent results. Dr. Fisher fulfilled all my expectations. He actually surpassed them. I am very pleased at this point and I'm expecting things to only get better as time passes. I'll keep you updated.
Btw, I'm only taking 2 pain pills per day. I'm not a fan of pain, Dr fisher really did leave enough anesthetics in my incisions to keep me comfortable. I did use the pump for good measure because I am such a baby when it comes to pain. I'm praying that things stay the course. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and well wishes.

Good luck to you hope you heal soon. Looks great!
Wow your story is amazing hope you continued healing many blessings
How is the pain on the inner scars around your privates?
Pain level is low on all incisions. My private area is swollen but no pain. I'm mostly experiencing tightness. There's a difference...both can be uncomfortable. I'm totally comfortable 80 % of the time. I'm bearably bothered 20% of the time, if that makes any sense to you. Lol
Hi there! How are you doing now? I had the "labia swelling" as well....no fun! But it does go away....i had virtually no pain on my thigh lift either.....i was amazed....
Hi onedimsim, I'm doing well. The swelling is well under controll and so far no stitch openings. I'll see dr. Fisher today and head home tomorrow. I love my results. I am still not able to stand completely straight but I have no trouble walking. Stitches are still very tight. How long do you think that will last?
Did Dr Fisher retighten your tummy? I'm trying to figure out why you would have trouble standing straight? if your T junctions do not open consider yourself very lucky! Mind open around the nine day mark I think? But on the other hand I overdid it a bit
He said he didn't do any work on my tummy, but it's much tighter. He thinks that the other work that was performed may have tightened my tummy. I still can't stand up straight and I'm18 das post op. Dr. Fisher isn't concerned about it. My T junctions has not opened but I have a couple of stitches in my left groin that looks as if they are thinking about it. I'm been working on them and they are looking better. I've taken things nice and easy. Considering the fact that I can't stand up straight without my stiches pulling, I can't really overdo it. Lol I'm ready to kick up my legs a bit.
How many procedures have u done. Did u have a spiral and vertical thigh lift together.
This time around, spiral, vertical thigh lift, and autologous butt augmentation. In the past, tt, breast-reduction and arm lift.

I congratulate you for doing so well, and for the courage to show your progress. I am watching your journey with avid interest. Good luck.
So excited for you. I too am following your journey. I am strongly considering Dr Fisher as my surgeon
I'll keep you posted along the way. I posted close up before pictures, and will post close up post op pictures as well. This is my first procedure with Dr. Fisher, but I believe I've made the best choice for me. I've not wavered once with my decision and I've had 3 other consultations.
I can't wait to see your results and follow your journey. I want this done as well
I can't wait either. I'm ready! Hopefully, I'll feel well enough to post some pictures soon after the surgery.
You have, indeed, chosen the best surgeon for the job! Dr. Fisher did my lbl revision and I'm so grateful for him. He's a magician with excess skin and with contouring. I love him so much I'm going to him for my face lift. I'd never considered going to anyone other than a facial plastic surgeon for a facelift before, but he's such an amazingly accomplished surgeon I feel confident in his hands. Best of luck to you, you've chosen wisely. Tell him hi from me. :)
I absolutely will. He is developing quite the fan club.
I remembered to tell him hello and he knew who you were...I'm sure you are not surprised.
Hi, I'm so excited for you, can't wait to see your after pics, best wishes for a speedy recovery
Thank you so much for the well wishes.
