1 year after
I wanted to post an update for 1 year after my surgery. As a previous stalker of this site I can say how excited I was to see the very few 1 year updates for ankle lipo. So I hope his helps all those fellow stalkers.
Your ankle shape in the morning at 6 months is pretty close to your final outcome. Please keep in mind that the swelling is not over at this point...or at least it wasn't for me. In fact, I still have a little swelling at the end of the day if I don't wear my compression socks. Now that it's winter I usually wear them all day during the week. I have gotten so used to how good my legs feel when I wear them that I still wear them.
My only regret is that I didn't find Dr. Peter Fisher sooner. My legs used to swell like crazy and hurt like I was dragging around 20lb weights on each leg. I couldn't wait to get home & put my legs up to stop the pain. I can honestly say I am pain free!
If you are considering this type of surgery please know that healing is a waiting game. You will have good days, really good days and really bad days. Don't get discouraged, it is well worth it! I can finally show my legs and not worry the entire time about how bad they hurt & how much they will swell. Not to mention how embarrassed I was to even let family see my legs! Not anymore! Thanks Dr. Peter Fisher!

6 Month Update
This is the 1st time in over 12 years that I felt comfortable wearing shorts. I'm still swelling a bit at the ankles by the end of the day but the overall shape is turning out very nice!
It was so nice to wear shorts & no one was staring at my legs! Thank you Dr. Fisher!

4 1/2 months
I'm still in the healing stage. There is still swelling by the end of the day if I go without my compression socks but this is to be expected.

Dr. Peter Fisher is a remarkable surgeon! He will look at your entire body & make his recommendations from there. His entire staff was wonderful. I felt very comfortable around Dr. Fisher.
