I am in conflict with the number of cc I am...

I am in conflict with the number of cc I am getting. I love the idea. Then I hate the idea. I just want pretty full breast again. I am 33 years old. I was married young and had two kids. Divorced and had a decent rack. Nothing to brag about. Then got remarried and had two more babies. Now they are GONE. Seriously, they freakin leafy me high and dry! I hate having my top off infront of hubby. After all the [RS bleep] he watches. He has got to look at my chest and be glad I don't take my shirt off. I know it's harsh of me to say such things. Yet, it's how I fell. So......I am doing it. I want to feel good again.

I was totally confused on the cc front. Once I had my first consultation & got an idea of what the dr recommended I was then able to research the brand, cc, shape & profile (mainly by searching for different peoples journeys on here) I tried to also find ladies with similar stats to give me an idea of how I could look afterwards. I also felt sad taking my clothes off. I use to feel sexy then after loosing my breasts I was constantly conscious of them.

There's some really great insight from doctors on choosing the correct size for your figure on this thread :)

Well hello there my fellow SATX companion! Well do not feel bad about having the feelings of self doubt after all the [RS bleep]. I have my opinions on [RS bleep].... whole 'nother conversation. Anyways, I totally feel you on that! I was having the exact same thoughts and conversations with my husband pre BA. I was like yelling at him "I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO COMPETE WITH THOSE WOMEN!". Arg, just thinking back on it makes me emotional. So i know EXACTLY how you feel and what you are thinking. Totally justified my friend! And after the BA, ha just watch em..... itll be like what [RS bleep]?? Lol. I promise you that you will have restored confidence. And your man will be drooling over you!

Me too! I'm obsessed! Your stats are similar to mine but I never had boobs except while nursing. I was thinking of 375 but I don't want to have boob greed! Ask your PS if you can borrow some for a day or two. Just remember the way they look in your bra is bigger than what they will look like placed under the muscle. My PS says about a size (so 20-30 cc's)? My date is April 7. Good luck to you!! It will be nice when it's over and you won't have to obsess anymore.

Mammogram ?

My doctor required me to obtain a mammogram before my BA. It was way better then I imagined. The office will bill my insurance or at least try. If not I will flip the $180.

Your breasts are beautiful! And you definitely have an amazing profile for a BA! I'm excited to see how your surgery turns out! What CC are you thinking?

I am thinking 500cc. Doctor said it would give me a full C or a small D. VS DD. I am not a curvy woman and I have a small bum. I'm still struggling. Thank you for your kind words.

I went with 500cc and I am very happy!! Good luck hun, you are still beautiful no matter what body type you were blessed with :)

I didn't require a mammogram but that's not to say what's your dr has suggested is incorrect. From what I have read on RS all ps and clinics are different. I'm over in the UK and it sounds like there's definitely lots of different s to the USA with procedures and costs.

They asked me to get one for recording sake. So when I hit the age of required mammograms. They have an X-ray to look back on. Something to compare tissue to.

I have no family history with breast cancer but my doctor wanted me to get one as well. I am 39 and because of my age he thought it was a good idea. Just being thorough. Age of regular mammograms starts at 40 in Canada. I managed to get mine covered by medical. Wasn't bad at all. Have heard they hurt but it was fine :)

Eeekk exciting!!! It's such happy time getting everything finalised. Questions is asked.....I confirmed my size/shape. I asked about the day or surgery, what usually happens (timings etc), about my post op bra & how long to wear it, if I could have a break etc. Pain meds to take afterwards, what I would be provided with, recommended sleeping positions & how long for, what would happen in surgery (would my ps stick to the size agreed or could he change it during the op if he felt the need), what would happen if anything went wrong with my surgery etc. I think that's about it but I took a note pad & tried to make notes as I thought of things. Good luck x
