I am a 34 HH with back problems and life disadvantages based on my difficulties of having such large breasts. I am interested in finding out any more information possible that may prepare me for this procedure. I am going to be reduced to at least a D cup at most a full C cup. I am looking to build connections with the lovely ladies on here through our experiences.

Hi and welcome to the community! I had my procedure done September 23. I was a 32HH and it looks like I will be a large C or small D by the time I am fully healed. I will say that the surgery is the easy part, it's the recovery that's hard! Since this is major surgery it takes a lot out of you. I will be 5 weeks post op tomorrow, and I still experience some soreness and I still get tired easily. I have not had any problems with healing and I am extremely happy with my results. My surgeon was excellent. She really takes pride in her work. Since my surgery I no longer have the back, neck, and shoulder pain that I coped with for many years. I also suffered with migraines and tingling in my hands, which has also gone away. I had a total of 4 pounds removed. Just be prepared to baby yourself for a couple of weeks. It really helps to have someone around to help out. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the great info. I'm ready to get it done the pain is now not worth it. Now that I've had my babygirl (she breastfed for 1 year) I am free to fix myself up. I will look to you for any questions I may have thank you for your experience.

You are so very welcome. This forum helped me greatly in preparing for my surgery. I went in knowing not to expect perfection and that healing takes time. I can say, without a doubt, that having this surgery is the best decision that I ever made. It has really changed my life.

I'm 29 days away from my surgery. I am still researching and keeping in touch with someone who recently had a reduction. I'm mostly trying to lose some weight right now. I am up to 180lbs. I will try to lose as much as I can before surgery. Realistically it will be about 6-10 lbs if I work hard. I'm ready for the change.

How exciting! You can do it! I've been hitting it hard at the gym to get in better shape, since I won't be able to move too much right after. Hopefully I'll be joining you in November!

What should I be doing at this point? I am nervous and have not really dine anything yet. I know my Dad is coming down to help with my daughter for about two weeks. That will be a great help. I see things written about creams and bras I love a good shopping day tell me what I should be stocking up on please.

Bali Comfort Revolution bras, for when you get out of the post surgical bras. They come in S M L XL XXL, they are simply the BEST. I too live in San Antonio. Had my reduction a year ago. Not as big as you, but VERY droopy, I'm quite a bit older than you, lol. get some Arnica Tablets (dissolvable) from Whole Foods...it helps a great deal with bruising, and I took Bromelain capsules (500 mg) to help with swelling. Also, STOOL SOFTENERS (Colace is good), the pain killers make you constipated. Start taking the softeners about 3-4 days before surgery. And take one every time you take a pain killer. Trust me on this...you don't wanna get "backed up" while you're trying to heal. Congrats on your decision, girl, you're gonna be SOOOO happy you did this! Best wishes. :-DSuzy
