Unfortunate

I am now a little over 4 weeks post op, and my left breast is has given me so many problems unfortunately. I till have zero regrets, and i trust my doctor 100%, but I am having to continue to take it easy... when I’m DYING to get back to just living my everyday NORMAL life again. I miss squeezing my babies, I miss doing everyday chores. I’m in quite a bit of pain because of the large wound now, but i know it cold be a lot worse (I’m taking norco which helps) So I am thankful that there shouldn’t be anymore problems from here on out. I just need to be patient, and take it easy but it is so hard. I have been doing “wet to dry” dressings to debride my wound. I apologize for the gruesome pictures. I just want to post them to show that not every recovery is perfect, sometimes there ARE complications. I got this.. I know I do. I will post more pics in a few weeks when things are looking better. :) But I’m sure it will be a couple months before I’m healed.

3 weeks post op..

So the Last couple weeks have been challenging... a small luster formed underneath my left breast, it popped and the skin came off with the bandage. :( then a few days later (i wasn’t taking it easy) i started leaking LOTS of fluid from that spot where the blister was at. I went in to see my doctor, and she pushed quite a bit of fluid out and it has been leaking just a little bit each day since, but the dr said it needs to come out so that’s good. I have been on antibiotics all week Incase of infection, the skin started splitting going up to the nipple due to fluid build up and pressure on the incision... that being said... the past 4-5 days I have been in bed MOST of the time.. and things are looking better :)

5 days post op! In loooove!

So the night before my surgery.. i was TERRIFIED! I was crying, having a panic attack, couldn’t sleep, had the poops... you name it. (This was my first surgery) But after they inject the “cocktail” then I woke up to instant back relief... I was AMAZED! Dr. Jessica Belz EXCEEDED my expectations. She did an amazing job! I feel like I owe her the world! I’m so incredibly happy with my new body.
