Hey ladies! After years of waiting I've finally pulled the trigger and scheduled my surgery for breast augmentation! I've waited for what feels like my whole life for this.
I'm 5'5" , 125 lbs starting out with a 32B cup. Due to my dimensions it is not recommended that I go over 350cc unless I want to look very top-heavy, so I'm getting just that! I've read continuously that women wish they had gone bigger, so I'm trying to keep that at bay by doing the max suggested.
My pre-op is on the 28th of June and Dr. Eric Schaffer will be doing my surgery. He is highly credentialed and I feel very comfortable with him. He didn't try to up-sell me and suggest that I get silicone implants, rather he said that saline would do just perfectly and cost me less. I really appreciated that from him ???? He also gave me a military discount! (I'm an active duty Air Force nurse).
My implants will be inserted through a transaxillary incision (through the armpit). No visible scars and less damage to my chest muscles. A win/win for me!
I will update as needed and will provide before pictures soon.

Have a fabulous night RealSelfers!

Before pictures!

Here's some before pictures. As you can see, my left boob sits higher than my right one. It caused quite the problem when I was getting my tattoo placed, lol! I really do love the shape of my boobs, I've just always wanted them bigger.
Less than a month before my surgery! Eep!!

Shopping List (:

I decided to buy a few things that would help me out post-surgery. I live all alone and have no friends or family even remotely near (my family and my boyfriend live back home in Tampa), so I will be doing my recovery largely on my own. I'm hoping my boyfriend can fly out to be with me for at least the first few days until I can tough it out on my own.
As you can see, I ordered a zip front bra to use after I'm done wearing my surgical bra that I know I'm going to get. I'm nervous to buy any underwire bras until at least 3 months after my surgery so I guess I'll be living in zip-front sport bras until then. I also bought a wedge pillow so I can sleep upright and be as comfortable as possible and have less issue actually getting up and out of bed. Finally, I bought a 5 gallon water jug with a spout on it and a CamelBak water bottle to keep on my nightstand so I can continually hydrate. The CamelBak is awesome because it has a straw and a sippy-top on it so I don't have to manually lift anything up to drink it.
I also scheduled a hair appointment for a wash and blow dry the day before my surgery! Fortunately I have very thick, curly hair that I only wash once a week anyways. So that helps me out tremendously!
Almost 10 days until my pre-op!
Have a wonderful night (or day), RealSelfers!
