I almost went through with this approx 3 years ago but chickened out. I wasn't comfortable with the risks and maintenance involved with silicone and figured I'd be too thin for saline without it looking like..... well saline... LOL. There's a new-ish (2014) implant on the market that has resolved my concerns. I'm going to get the IDEAL structured saline. I do realize that all implants have a silicone shell but I'm less concerned about that than the risk associated with silent rupture of a silicone gel implant. I have met with Dr. Bao Phan. My husband and I both really liked what he had to say. He even took the time to give us a tour of his facility. He spent 1.5 hrs talking with us, insuring we are well informed.

It's been about 3 years since I last researched buying boobs. I'm the big 4-0 now. I didn't feel comfortable wth the risks of silicone and I didn't like the idea of saline based on the fact that I'm pretty thin and was worried they'd not look right on me. Anyway, glad I put it off. I'm pretty excited about the new IDEAL Structured Saline implants. I have a consultation scheduled with Dr. Bao L. Phan on 17 Mar 2017. I'll let you know how it goes.

So I'm putting this off for now. I'm a chicken. The Dr. office was really nice about it. I was able to get my $1500 deposit back and they said to please give them a call if I have any questions and/or change my mind.
