I’ve wanted breast implants for as long as I can remember. Finally the timing, money, and relationship all lined up. I’m about 5‘3“ and close to 150 pounds. I breastfed for a little over a year ending in 2015. I lost a little volume but not completely flat. I’m slightly asymmetrical with my left side leading the way but not enough for different sized implants. In the black and white simulation, the top is me , the middle is 485cc and the bottom is 605cc. I was going back and forth between the two and chose the Natrelle Inspira SoftTouch 605cc because I didn’t want to have boob envy and have to do this again. Dr. Michael Baumholtz was my surgeon. His staff and bedside manner were all great! I’m about three weeks post-op and I wish I could say I love them. I’m just trying to be patient until the swelling goes down and they look a little more natural. I started massages last week at two weeks and have noticed a slight difference. They’re more modest and concealable in clothing but once the clothes come off, damn the torpedoes! Lol. I think I’m still in shock. I was a small 34B but can’t imagine that I’m anything less than a DD or more likely a DDD. Overall, I think that Dr. Baumholtz and his team did a great job with the consult, information, incision, placement, and after care. Here are some things that I wish I’d considered beforehand: 1) the pain is more than I anticipated 2) don’t overdo it—you may feel good one day and like crap the next 3) plan to seriously rest 4) this is not an experience for the impatient 5) take lots of pictures to chronicle your journey 6) don’t compare yourself to anyone else’s progress or pitfalls.

You are right about patience! I understand how you feel right now. I’m a little more than one week post-op breast augmentation and thigh liposuction. I keep saying “fast forward a month!” Lol But this is my second set of implants. I exchanged my ten year old first set, so I can say from experience that it just takes time for your muscle and tissues to stretch and relax. You have a large implant which also adds a bit to that stretch and relax time. When your implant finally does settle into its new pocket, you are going to love how voluptuous you are!! Hang in there girl!

You look great! Reminds me of some of my pics early on. I noticed a big change at week 4 though. Your results are going to be gorgeous:)

Wowza! L@@king good so far! I started out a 36C but I lost quite a bit of weight. I went 500cc mentor silicone mod+ profile under & I’m 8.5 mpo BL/BA and I been sized at a 34H! Be patient and def wait for the complete d&f before putting out money on costly bras. I assume VS will not have any bras to fit you if your bigger than DDD. I feel they size you wrong to just get you into something they sell. Many ladies on here have said/thought that. I’ve had luck at Nordstrom but I want to check out Nordstrom Rack! Good luck and happy healing dear! You can read my journey anytime. ❤️ Take it easy & follow your PS orders. (*(*hugz*)*)

Great review, we are all patiently waiting for our drop & fluff. I completely agree with the things you didn’t anticipate. It hurt me so much more than I anticipated. The best advice I’d give anyone is to rest. Happy healing from the UK x

Dear baby Jesus, please don’t let these things stay high and hard forever. LOL I amused myself by going to Victoria’s Secret today! I tried out a few sports bras and was quite surprised that the small was SOO tight! I was actually stuck for about a minute. ????

I'm 3 weeks post op and can't wait for the drop and fluff. I tried some other bralettes and sports bras and got stuck as well and a few I wasn't going to try to force over my head right now lol

It’s early days. You will get there. I had to cut myself out a sports bra when I was about 4 weeks PO. It had no zip or hooks and my arms were still too stiff for them to stretch fully over my head. Another time I pulled a dress on fine but took ages trying to pull it off over my head. I can laugh about that now. Happy healing!
