After breastfeeding my two children, my breasts...

After breastfeeding my two children, my breasts went from a B cup to a deflated A cup. I could no longer fill out my 34 b bras, and I was constantly buying bras in larger sizes to try to look more feminine and less like a squarish 13 year old boy figure. Last fall, I decided it was time to get rid of the ridiculous bras that didn't fit and actually do something for me!

Day of Surgery - I was a nervous wreck!

A roller coaster of emotions ...excited, anxious, scared to death...I really almost got cold feet...but I'm glad I hung in there. The surgery went smoothly. It felt like it took 5 minutes...I remember giving my husband a kiss and then waking up and seeing him again lol. The surgery was at 8:30 and I was out by noon. Amazing. I was feeling pretty loopy afterwards ...so much so that I forgot to take my pain meds until Dr. Greene called me at 5pm. That means I must have been without pain meds since 11am! I actually thought I had taken it but realized that what I had taken was the antibiotic!! Lol Anyway, I guess I have a high tolerance for pain? My main goal for Surgery night was to not vomit lol. Saltine crackers saved me! I woke up in the middle of the night with that nauseous feeling and I reached for crackers and a sip of Gatorade...then decided to skip the Tylenol with Codeine and instead took 2 Extra Strength Tylenols. Didn't take the Xanax that was prescribed for the first night...I didn't feel the need to. For those of you that haven't had surgery yet, I highly recommend these wedge pillows that I bought on Amazon (I used one for under my head and one for under my legs to keep the circulation going and prevent blood clots). I even used my leftover crib fitted sheets as "pillow cases" lol

Thank you falteringsky! I felt like it was definitely manageable...I've been through two c-sections before and I sort of felt the same about the pain except it was in another part of my body. I made it a point to get up and move and not just lay in bed (well, I'm a mother of two so that's really impossible lol) . I think two Tylenol Extra Strength tablets worked just as well as the prescribed Tylenol with Codeine ...I was also trying not to bloat and eh hem go to the bathroom lol and I was told Codeine makes you super bloated /constipated ...so that's the other reason I tried getting off of it asap.
