I've struggled with my weight my whole life....

WORTH IT$7,000
I've struggled with my weight my whole life. Having lost a significant amount of weight has left my arms with a huge amount of skin that literally got in the way when using my arms.
Both Dr Baumholtz and Carissa (clinical coordinator) were SO encouraging. I'm so glad I did this!
Thank you both again.

I am excited to see the healing process as the incision heals and the scar matures. Looks great thus far.

Sorry, as a doctor myself, I can tell you your doctor's suturing technique leaves a LOT to be desired! I had the same procedure 4 wks ago on both arms and you can barely see the scars, which extend almost to my elbows. Looks like you will need scar revision surgery.

Thank you DR for your professional opinion... I guess we will see what my scars look like in a few months. I'll for sure post updates. Considering the fact that my skin was severally abused by loosing 75-100lbs 4 times over 40 yrs and my age (64), I am very happy with my progress. I very well expected bad scaring but, to be honest they are healing quite well. Every battle comes with wounds... I'm pretty proud of mine!!

May I suggest you apply BioOil (or its generic counterpart) twice a day, by rubbing a generous amount into the scar. It works mirculously in reducing the scars' appearance, or by possible keloid you may develop. Good luck!

Please ignore negative comments!
That isn't fair to you... I had a minimal arm lift and the sutures looked a lot like this which freaked me out but they all ironed out over time and you can hardly see anything now! Best wishes/ hope to see another post from you! Stay Happy in your decision!

Thank you judyjudy! My incision's actually are looking pretty good. I knew from the start I would have scaring and I will proudly look at them as 'war wounds' because I won this war!!

60 day post op

So it's been 60 days since my arm procedure n I'm SO happy with my progress. My arms were so out of shape n skin in terrible shape after loosing 100 lbs 4 times in the past. Now at my age and as bad as my skin was, I didn't know what to expect but even if it never heals any better, I'm happy with my arms. I look forward to every day and seeing myself in the mirror because I feel so much better about myself. I only wish I hadn't waited so long!

I agree with you completely. I haven't worn sleeveless NOR short sleeves in 20 yrs. I wish I had known about this surgery years back! I must have 20 cardigans.... Holiday dress? Dress for a wedding? You know, Impossible!
I'll post photos this week. So happy I could cry! I'm glad to share your sentiments! Yay!
