I had botox done on March 24, 2016, biggest mistake ever about 15 minutes after receiving botox on my forehead I felt like passing out, shortness of breath, dizziness, difficulty swallowing, and hoarse voice. I went to the er already 3 times, the first time to the er they called poison control and said it was a side effect to botox and to never receive botox again. Obviously I'm not going to. The doctor that did my botox denies it has to do with the botox. He had a neurologist talk to me and tell me it will go away as the botox wears off. That im fine. Its already 13 days after botox and I'm having bad headaches, blurry vision, pressure on my forehead where I received the botox and I feel shaky all over my body I have no appetite I feel nauseous along with other side effects. I just keep on praying and praying that I get better fast I want this stuff out of my body already. I have kids and a husband to take care of. I beg Jesus so much to help me. I just want to feel back normal. These days have been so hard for me. Please don't get botox.

That's terrible!!! Can I ask if your body is sensitive? Do you have an allergies? What is your blood type? I'm thinking about getting Botox but I'm so scared...any input would be greatly appreciated.

No my body isn't sensitive, and I have no allergies. I think my blood type is O positive I'm not for sure though. I personally would never get botox again. I'm praying that the botox wears off fast and leaves my body. I've heard of some people not have any reactions. I truly believe it also has to do with the doctor who is preforming the botox. If you do decide to get it please make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing.

Thank you. I have it scheduled with a reputable plastic surgeon but I'm still nervous. What is your ethnicity? Do you think it may have gone into your blood stream? How many units did he give you? Thank you for your input.

You should called Allergan and report it...I'm so sorry this is happening to you

No, you should not call a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Allergan is already aware their product causes botulism and they really go to great lengths to suppress than information and relay to the FDA their version of what you report.

Call the FDA directly or go online to report it. Very fast. Very easy.
• Online visit their “MedWatch Online Voluntary Reporting Form” located at: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/medwatch/index.cfm?action=reporting.home
Online reporting allows a narrative story of 4,000 characters and results of medical tests of 2,000 characters
• Call: 1-888-INFO-FDA (1-888-463-6332) to speak to an FDA representative

Hi there, just checking in to see how you're feeling? I ask if the doctor that injected you was a surgeon? And if yes, was a board-certified? Thanks again and I hope you're feeling better

Is it possible he injected into a vein? Has your ability to swallow improved?
May 14, 2016
The fact her reaction was immediate and severe implies the needle nicked a vein. The injector would not even realize if the vein was nicked or not because the needle is so small and the negative pressure collapses it upon withdrawal. Very stealthy.
