Post Lipo and touch up

After having the dog-ear removed and additional Lipo, I feel so great about my results. Something unexpected: I’ve been working out and buckling down on my diet ( habits I’ve never been able to stick with before!) I’m proud of myself and my progress. While posting this update to my review I went back and looked at my before pictures. I can’t even believe that was my midsection! Having this surgery has transformed me in many ways, not only on the outside but so much on the inside too. I feel confident and grateful about where I’m at. I’m excited to continue working hard to stay fit and strong for the future too. If you are considering doing this for yourself, stop debating and just do it! Find an excellent doctor who will help you achieve your goals then don’t look back. Xo

6 days post revision and additional Lipo

Hey friends! Last Monday I went in for a dog ear revision and additional Lipo. I had a pretty good sized dog ear/ fat deposit surrounding the scar on my left side (right in photos). I also had an area of fat in my upper abs that always bugged me. It was there before my TT but wasn’t as noticeable until the rest of my tummy was smooth and flat. My doctor has an excellent revision policy… Revisions to surgery are always free! The additional Lipo to my upper abs was considered a secondary surgery, but he give me an awesome returning patient discount. I debated on the additional Lipo but since I was having a little work done on my dog ear, I figured I had better get the other areas taken care of all at once. I’m glad I did because man, even though this recovery is way easier than my tummy tuck it’s still not very fun to be laid up for a while. Bruising has gone down quite a bit but there’s still some swelling, and will be for several weeks (months maybe). Sigh. I’m very happy with my decision already though, and can see a difference. Dr. Yates is superb and I highly recommend him. I trust I will love the results when I’m all healed.

Hands down this is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.

It’s been about 15 months since my tummy tuck. If you’re on the fence about getting it done, and you feel deep down that this is something that you really want to do for yourself, don’t wait. You will thank you forever. :D My confidence has gone way up. Hubby loves how good I feel about myself. Full disclosure: I’ve gained 15 - 20 lbs since last year. I wanna work on that, actually, and get in a regular habit of exercise and eating right so I don’t feel sluggish. I’ve gotten lazy because my tummy looks so good no matter what I eat haha! That’s a good and bad thing- fine for my belly but my butt is getting huge XD. Overall I feel so good about my body. There’s always going to be something I want to improve and that’s okay! Motivation to exercise, right? I’m actually going in today for a touch up to my scar where it’s got a dog ear. I’m getting a little additional Lipo to my upper abs where they’ve always stuck out a bit. It should take less than an hour and I expect to be feeling great again soon. Here’s current photos. Love ya’ll and I’ll post updates later this week.
