I have been in swell hell :-/ I am at the blah stage in the recovery process. I'm still feeling quite a bit of pain and discomfort and starting to feel that it is not normal at this point...I Just thought for sure I would be totally back to normal at this point and totally in love with my results, but I'm not on either. When I sit I have quite a bit of loose skin still, like a handful, and I thought it wouldn't bother me but my mons area is reallt starting to get to me in conjunction with the loose skin that I still have...I don't know, I will discuss all this with my PS next week when I have my next follow up. I am going to post pictures of the kind of swelling I have been dealing with by the end of the day. In the morning I love how I look but that last for about a half hour. Will update again soon.

I also wanted to add that the last few days all i want to do is eat and sleep, I have absolutely no energy and an insatiable apatite.
I just posted my 6 week update and then found your update at about the same time, and I was relieved to see we feel somewhat the same way. I am so tired all of a sudden this week, and as I posted a few days ago--I am eating like crazy! What is going on? I posted a picture update and noted I don't see a whole lot of difference from week 3 to week 6, which discouraged me. I am never flat, even in the morning. Now that being said, I feel like a brat because I look SO much better than 6 weeks ago. I get compliments from many people asking what I've done- lost weight? Exercise? No one knows I got the TT. But I just want to be done with that bulge in my lower abs and have that really flat look. It just may not happen and I need to keep perspective and realize how fortunate I am to even have what I have! It's hard, right?

Spitting stitches?

Lastnight after my shower I noticed a small peeling scab right by my pubic line and I picked it (I know, bad bad bad!) and I have a stitch coming through. What do I do? I just put some neosporin on it and covered it with a bandaid. Is this something that will work it's way out on its own or do I need to call my surgeon?

Sorry to hear, I'm no expert but after investing and spending so much on your new you I would definitely go see my surgeon to be safe. Good luck!
I was thinking that also but my uncle is a GP (and my dr) and my aunt a nurse, just wondering if this is something they could take care of while they come over to visit lol.
I used Vaseline on my incision so it wouldn't dry out and form a scab. It's healing great and I had no issues :-).
My incision is very very dry and flaky and was wondering what I could put on it without getting "oil stains" on my tanks that I wear under my binder. Have you noticed any of that on your clothes with the Vaseline? I was thinking of using A&D ointment, which is Vaseline based.

Pictures from this morning

I'm not swollen at all in the morning but that doesn't last long. It's not anywhere near what it was though.
