It has been two months since my surgery. I have no pain and the swelling is going down. I can breath better but my nose is still a little numb. I still cannot smell fully yet. I had a slight cold that normally would have turned into a sinus infection. I am hoping I am a lot healthier this winter. I am very pleased with the look of my nose. I feel better about myself and am still surprised at times when I look in the mirror.

I went to Dr. Ward for a second opinion on problems with my nose and he validated my concerns. The pros for this surgery were being able to breath better and to decrease sinus infections and problems. The cons were the pain and the recovery time. I am pleased with my results. I can breath better and I feel more confident about my appearance.

Dr. Ward was understanding and friendly. He took time to explain to me what would happen and treated me like a person with feelings. His office staff are very friendly and offered snacks when he was running a little behind one day. I heard about Dr. Ward from a therapy client I see. I was already thinking about a second opinion so I'm glad I heard about him.
