I week post op

So far, recovery has been easier than I expected. I do wish my doc would prescribe pain pills because it's still so hard for me to sleep and my back is KILLING me. I do my stretches constantly and I'm doing my log rolls at least once a day. The pain management aspect is frustrating though. I have been able to comfortably raise my hands over my head, locking my elbows, for a few days now, which all my friends who have went through a BA, weren't able to do for weeks! I guess there's a give and take in everything, right?

I'm feeling great. My back is really sore so I'm sleeping with a heating pad. I also need helo sitting up, but besides that my pain is really manageable, maybe a 2 or 3 max. My left breast is way more swollen than my right, so they look asymmetrical right now, but it's just swelling. I'm already noticing them becoming softer. I'm so happy already!
