Physical done and referral for a pain clinic is in the works

Okay, so I had a physical that wasn't really a physical (lots of things not done that I'm typically used to in a physical examination) but I wasn't expecting much from Dr. Pitstop. I'm just glad she supports the breast reduction. She said there are hoops to jump through and most insurance want to see you try to handle the pain through therapy first, hence the referral.
I was supposed to walk out with an order for a mammogram (for which I am overdue) but she or her staff forgot, so I'll have to call and make sure I get that.
I'm glad to get started on this path, but I will have to find another primary care physician, one who is willing to spend more than a few hurried minutes with me. I miss my old doctor, but I lost her with the change in insurance. :(

Physical scheduled

My physical is scheduled for Oct. 10. I continue to slowly lose weight--just not from where I really want it.

No doctor appointment yet

Spent my lunch break on hold waiting to get an appointment for a physical. Finally had to clock back in to work. Quite miffed. I'll keep trying. Just: grrr.
