Hello everyone!
It's done ! I had my BA this morning!!! I'm staying overnight at Spire Southampton hospital and coming out tomorrow. I am 6ft tall and weigh 64kg. I was a 34AA and have the 345cc round "gummy bear implants"
I was worried of going too big and in the last few days panicked So I went back to Dr Horlock and he quickly put me at peace. I showed him pictures of boobs that I didn't want because they we're too big and boobs that I like the shape. At home I did the rice bags eith 300 and 340cc and i was happy with 340cc but when I looked online some girls with that size implant had very big boobs hence why I panicked. But it all depends on what we started with, in my case, barely anything! It also depends on your height and width and what look you are trying to achieve. I am so pleased with the results !! I'm also really pleased with the surgeon I chose, you can tell he has a lot of experience and I'm also very impressed with the team at Spire Southampton Hospital team, everyone is so lovely and understanding.
I'm only taking paracetamol at the moment as I'm trying to avoid the Morphine because it can give stomach ache. Plus, it's not really painful. Just a bit when I try and sit up to eat and go to the toilet. And believe me, I don't do pain, I'm usually a massive wuss!
I'll upload pictures of me before the OP and as soon as I'm able to, I'll upload the after.
This website helped me so much, I hope I can help others too!

Yeah that would be great! I'm on day 4 Post Op and I'd say the thing that's probably bothering me the most is sleeping on a 45degres angle. How long do we have to do that for

Hi @hellolexy How are you feeling now? Im also in my 4 day

Oups! I've just realised I missed a fee comments! I'm completely back to normal now, 5 weeks later! How are you doing ? Xx

Same here nearly 5 weeks getting better slowly , my breast still a bit hard and I’m still in breast band

Hi conscious girl, can I ask about the breast band? I had my BA on Wednesday and was discharged yesterday with a breast band on. My surgeon didn't come back to see me and I was discharged by the nurse but when I asked her about it she wasn't sure if I had to leave it on. I read online that it's to stop the implant moving upwards, is that right? Can I ask how tight you had it? I have my follow up on 18th but don't want to do anything wrong before then! They feel very tight at the moment and tingly but not too painful. I had 325 pear shaped under muscle. Any advice would be fab. Thank you

Hello, its strange your doctor didn’t see you before they discharge you , my doctor made me use support/surgical bra for 1 week then I went back to see him and removed my stitches then after that he gave me breast tube surgical bra , the tube help itself to stop from moving my breast too much and helping to drop them in proper size , perhaps your doctor gave that breast band to use it until you see him next, my doctor didn’t ask me to wear bands because the tube bra already do the work

Thanks so much, yes I was expecting to see my surgeon again the next day. I will call his office on Monday to check about the band, seeing him on Thursday for the follow up. He advised a shock absorber bra post surgery, so have than on and the band. Feels so restrictive. All worth it in the end though hey? X

Shock absorber bra is amazing! I have one and loved wearing them, I’m in my 4 months now no more pain , I can sleep any side freely, they dropped nicely though! So excited for summer! Good luck to you xoxo

How do you make the rice bags?

Super easy! Get some ankle high tights, weight your rice and fill the tight socks, make a knot. For added security you could sew them up before the knot. Good luck !

Hey, your new boobs look amazing!! I am booked in soon so getting very excited and nervous. Did you go under the muscle? X

Day 1 Post Op

So I have my op yesterday and stayed overnight. I had my drains removed just now and managed to take a picture! They are obviously swollen to they will go down and "drop and fluff" but I LOVE THEM! I was so worried they'd be too big but they're just perfect (considering they will go down in size a bit!). If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to send me a private message. I'll will keep you all informed of my progress!

I had my BA done today. Do you have any boob greed? I can't wait to see your progress.

Hi Sammy, how are you doing ? Day 2 and I'm back at home. It's sore but the worse is not being able to do things for myself. Im usually very independent. No I don't have boob greed because I wanted a natural look so I'm very pleased with my 345cc round moderate profiles! Why, are you wishing you'd gone bigger?

Hi Sammy, sorry I thought I'd replied to your comment, I think my phone had a weird moment. How are you feeling? No I don't have any boob greed because I didn't want to go too big so I'm happy with a nice C cup which I think is what I'll be. Why do you wish you'd gone bigger?
December 16, 2018
Yours look great! I got 350cc mod plus profile but it doesn't seem to look big maybe I just need to take off my bra and have a real look at the girls. Do you know when we should start massaging them?
User Avatar

I think you need to take the bra off to have a proper look at them. Take a couple of pictures and you'll see! I'm sure you'll be happy with 350cc! Now it's interesting about the massaging because my surgeon didn't say anything about that. I think he's more :leave them be and they'll drop when they're ready. Which I agree with, why rush things. They will drop and fluff in their own time! I don't want to cause any problems by fiddling about with them too much lol
Thanks for the compliment, I'm very pleased with my girls!

Your results are looking amazing!! That hospital room looks Devine to recover in! I had a 3.5 hour drive home right after surgery :)

Thank you Jakelyne02! I'm very happy with my new addition too! So glad I went ahead with the OP! 3.5hrs drive home after the op, that must have been painful.. When was your surgery? How are you feeling? It's great having Realself and speaking to other women who really understand what your going through.

Slept mostly through the night, just woke up at 6h30 am with a massive migraine I think because my head kept fallen forwards and my neck hurts. My stitches under my boobs were also really sore, feels like my bra is so tight. Took some paracetamol and that did the trick! I can now lift myself out of bed and do little things by myself. I've been eating well and lots of fruit and today I finally was able to go for a poop! I feel less bloated which is great. I think my biggest annoyance is wanting to shower, smelling of hospital and not being able to. My mum is coming over tomorrow and she's going to try and wash my hair over a sink. I can't wait!! I took some pictures but I don't think they look any different than day 2, it's very early days. Thanks for everyone's support, it really helps knowing you're not alone!

You had your surgery hours after mine. You’re looking great! What have you been taking to go to the bathroom?

Thank you Sarah! I asked the hospital to send me home with the stuff called Magnesium Hydroxide and I only took it for 3 days. Now I've stopped because I've gone too much the other way ! I'm not sure what worse hehe!
December 19, 2018
Haha I’m happy you don’t have that problem. I should’ve planned better for it. Im excited to see more pictures of yours to see your progress. Can’t wait for them to drop and fluff
