15 years ago i had gastric bypass. 16 years ago I had a cesarean section, and 3 V-back pregnancies. And I have wanted this surgery for the last 14years. Before my GB i weighed 320 and I am 5'7" tall. After GB i weighed 150, then after 3 pregnancies i weighed 220. In 2012 i consulted with a PS in Portland, Oregon and she told me that for better results I would need to lose 30lbs. After 4 years and loosing 23lbs (now at 197) I decided I couldn't wait any longer. i had my consultation on April 4thDr. Austin spent alot of time explaining the breast reduction, I am going from a 42DDD to a full C. He also explained the that I would need a fleu de lis TT because of my GB incision and to get my desired result, with muscle repair. My insurance is paying for the reduction, but I have paid my deposit for the TT and scheduled my surgery for June 6th, and I will be taking 4 weeks off. I am ready to fit in my clothes!

So I know how much $ i need to have by my pre-op on May 25th (thats only one month away). I am struggling to make good food choices because My emotions are all over the place as I count down the days. I have been bouncing between 197-200 and I was hoping to be down to 190 before surgery. So I am jist trying to focus on good choices instead of obsess over the surgery.

Plan ahead. Put food into sandwich bags in the refrigerator. I do this and it helps me to avoid snacking or eating things I shouldn't. Steamed vegetables, cooked chicken breast, fresh fruits. Can all be put in little baggies to grab quickly. You're probably going to want to eat if you're an emotional eater. But having the healthy choices on hand will prevent you from gaining weight. You probably will lose weight. When I cut out all carbs and all sugars. I lose weight rather quickly. Good luck! :)

I am still struggling to keep my weight from creeping up, partly because I am crazy busy at work right now, which is keeping me from obsessively researching on here. The only time I have every been this nervous or anxious about something was right before my first child was born. I know its because no matter how much I prepare or research I will not know what my reaults are until I am ob the flat side (and maybe even months after surgery). But I still know this is the right vhoice doe me so I keep counting down the days!
