I've always wanted a flat belly and after finally...

I've always wanted a flat belly and after finally losing 80 lbs of baby weight I'm getting Hi def Vaser liposuction of my entire belly, flanks, and back fat. My procedure was yesterday and pretty uneventful. I took an Ativan and percocet pre-op. The doctor explained every step and his nurses were so attentive throughout. The last few minutes were uncomfortable as the meds had worn off but I just took a few deep breaths and it was over. The nurses put me in the compression garment and home I went. I spent most of the day resting and only needed the percocet once. Throughout the night I did have to wake up and reinforce the dressings as they were saturated with bloody drainage but otherwise I slept pretty well. I took a shower this morning and noticed how swollen and bruised I was! But that's normal. I can't wait to see my final results. Oh and that was only procedure 1 of 2. My back is being done in 2 weeks.

Post op day 2- Tape allergy ????

Well after 35 years of life I found out the hard way that I'm allergic to paper tape.... I woke up at least 5 times last night itching so bad I was shaking. At first I thought I was allergic to my pain meds but after removing my compression garment I noticed that every where there had been tape holding the absorbent surgical dressings there were welts and hives. My amazing husband made a 1am trip to CVS to get benadryl, Zantac, and anti-itch cream..... Now 18hrs later the itching is finally under control... But this is no joke.... My flat belly better be worth it.....
