I had ear surgery before by another doctor but they still weren't right. I took a chance and called Dr. Benedetti's office for a consultation and it was the best decision I ever made. He did an amazing job. My ears have never looked better and I absolutely love the final result. I am so happy that I have to keep thanking him every time I go in. I highly recommend him and you will not be sorry you made the call to his office!

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

More details about the surgery. It took about 2 hours and 45 minutes but I was completely comfortable in the chair. The doctor took his time on the first earlobe because he had to remove the thickness and wanted to make sure he did it right and did not take too much so he had to continue removing some width. That helped the right earlobe go faster. I had stitches and a white gauze band aid over them. Those were just for overnight then could be removed. Within 3 hours they were stinging, it wasn't a bad pain but just constant so I needed some relief. I took a pain pill described and it helped a lot. Around 5 hours later, I could have used another pain pill but decided to hold off for bedtime. Slept propped up the first night and took a pain pill to sleep. The next morning I took off the band aids and everything looked great but of course was swollen. I had very little pain that day and did not have to take any pain pills. I took one more pain pill to sleep the second night but am not sure I really needed it. I slept on them and did not have any pain. Stitches were removed two weeks later and did not hurt coming out at all. Six weeks from the initial surgery I was going to have the doctor pierce my ears but they were still not ready so decided to wait another four weeks. They are looking great and continue to go down in swelling. The left one that had the most work still has some swelling on the end but looks great anyway. I can just imagine how great they will look when completely healed.
