WORTH IT$2,600
I am having removal surgery on Jan 4th 2018. I am 28 years old, I've had my saline implants for 10 years. Went from a size B to a small D (325 cc). When I turned 20, they grew another 2 cup sizes. I had my first child 2 years ago and since then my breasts haven't been the same. I was unable to breastfeed due to the size they were once my milk came in. I am just ready to get them out. My initial consult was for removal with a lift, but since the cost was almost 10k, and I plan on having a 2nd child next year, I'm opting for removal without the life (and maybe a lift once I have my 2nd child). Excited for surgery!

Can’t wait to follow your journey and see updates pics. I’m in the exact same boat as you and looking to get mine removed. Just scared what all the excess skin might look like when they’re taken out and totally with you about the price with a lift. I would definitely wait till after you have more kids

From everything I've read, the excess skim should fill out in about 6 months, but we will see!

good luck tomorrow, looking forward to seeing your journey and end

Day One - Post Implant Removal

I had my implants taken out yesterday afternoon. The procedure was quick, less than an hour, recovery at the surgery center was about an hour and then I was sent home. To remind, I did not have a lift, just had the implants removed. Even once the pain meds from surgery wore off the pain hasn't been bad at all. My actual boobs do not hurt, just where my stiches are underneath. They did not wrap me in anything, the stiches are bandaged and they put the zip up sports bra on me. I was still super groggy when I get home so I've just been sleeping and eating jello/crackers. The photos below shows a regular photo and then a selfie photo, from the selfie photo you can see the large gap at the top of my boobs where the implants were sitting. I think that gap should fill up quite a bit in the next 3-6 months..hopefully. Will plan on getting a lift after I have my second child.

They look great. Did they remove the capsules? I am right now trying to find a doctor in Oklahoma City. Do you mind telling me how much it cost in which doctor you used? I have only been to one consult but this is so confusing.
January 5, 2018
As far as I know they didn't remove the capsules, I'll find out at my post op appointment next week. It cost 2,600 for the removal (without a lift or anything else), my doc is Dr William Adams, in St Petersburg FL.

Hi there! You look great! I had my implants removed on 1/4 too! I’m wondering if you had drains? Also did your doc suggest a compression bra? I had drains for only 3 days. now wearing a tight sports bra.
January 9, 2018
Awesome! No drains. And I just bought a compression bra from kohls, wore it when I left the surgery center and I've been wearing sports bras since. How did your surgery go?

Went as good as can be expected. Today is 5 days post op and I have zero pain. Yesterday and today I felt the most tired but I think I am overdoing it! How are you feeling?
January 10, 2018

January 10, 2018
So good to hear! Did the top area of yours fill in after some time?
January 11, 2018
Thanks for posting!! I want to get mine removed this Spring. Was it expensive?
January 13, 2018
It was 2,600 for the removal by itself. If I would've went with removal and lift it would've been 9,000.

Feeling great! I feel like they aren't looking as hollow on the top where the implant had been sitting.
