Day 7 - Pain is gone

Finally the pain of the whole process subsided this morning. Still had morning boob, but didn't last long. Both my nipples are gaining sensitivity, yeah! I do have to say the week took more out of me than I thought it would. I went light on the drugs on day two and three and it was a mistake. Your body has to be comfortable to heal correctly. I am now in the after stage of wishing I went bigger. I spent so much time worrying about going too big. I think when you try on the sizers and you are in a very tight shirt for the process you just feel huge. I recommend bringing your own favorite clothes to see what they would look like. I did 280 and 310 silicone textured low profile overs and now wish I would have done 310 and 340. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the results but was so afraid to have "boobs" for the first time and now that they are in they feel natural and kind of small. I was a small b to start. I was so afraid of having D's! I do think the implants settle smaller under your skin than having the sizers on. I did rice sizers and when I went to the bigger size I felt like they were crazy big on me. Remember the sizers are not under your skin and spread out which helps loose some volume. Still very happy!

Yesterday the pain hit....suggest staying on your schedule for pain pills! Today was better, down to one pain pill every 4 hours, lots of water, and still using ice. Sometimes I look in the mirror and can't believe I actually did this. They already feel like my own body part, not like a foreign object. So happy, now just play the waiting game to see how they drop and fluff.

Any particular reason you chose subglandular? I'm doing subfascial which is over the muscle, too. Are you doing anything special for the scars?

I am 46 years old and didn't want unnaturally high breast. I also had some sagging in which the implant should drop into and give the illusion of a lift. I also jad a fair amount of breast tissue to start with so the "overs" would not show through. I am allergic to steri strips so this is just scar glue. It should fall off in one week then I am suppose to use the scar pads I bought.

So glad things are going well for you. I'm getting 300cc overs. I'll keep following your journey as a good idea of what to expect!

Hi ladies. My surgery was at 7am. Back at my hotel by 10am. Feeling great. No nausea and came out of general very well. I was to expecting to be there till noon. Everyone was great, the girls look ok but obviously wil look different in the weeks to come. I was so scared I almost cancelled last minute. My doc calmed my fears and we proceeded.

Glad survey went well. Did you have a lift in addition to implants?

No. I had grade 1 ptosis so the implants gave the illusion of a lift. Staining up I can definately see the difference. I will post that pic tomorrow. Feeling some pain now. Staying on top of meds for sure.

My before pic was taken from lower angle so they don't quite droop that low in real life
