I had microblading done April 22, 2017. I had absolutely no brows before. But after I look like a clown. I don't want to leave the house. I am beside myself. The technician had a great portfolio. Of course, my luck she didn't listen to me. My brows are HUGE now and too close together. I showed her pictures of how I drew them on and said I wanted a little thicker. I showed her pictures of what I don't like. It didn't matter she thought this what I should have. She said it matched my bone structure. I am miserable and want to go back to no brows. I see other reviews on here and wish I had it as bad as them. I am desperate and sick over this. What can I do?

Probably best if you don't follow the after care instructions. Let the skin get dry and use an exfoliator in the shower. They'll fade fast enough that you can probably use a bit of concealer over them and draw brows over the top how you like until they fade enough you can just draw over them. Best of luck!

I just got mine done and feel the same I've left the house with a hat and shades on I looked ridiculous, I went to my training group the following evening and I was making jokes regarding them But a woman there said her friend had them done hers looked like mine aswell but after a gd 7 Days she said her friends looked great. I'm hoping I feel the same I did notice the glasses I wear for reading hides them so wen picking up the kids from skwl I had them on. Fingers crossed chick I feel ur pain!

Thank you. That makes me more hopeful. They have shrunk a bit. But still larger than I feel comfortable with. Good luck to you.

Don't panic. I have had mine done for a couple of years. They will fade so much in the next few weeks. They always do them a bit bigger to allow for the shrinkage. I don't think they look so bad. You are just not used to them yet. Give them a few weeks and you will be used to them especially when you seen how much they shrink and fade. Good luck and don't be so harsh on yourself.

Thank you Carolyn. You are sweet.

It's mostly about that you're not used to them. Yours are not black like a sharpie was used. Those are the ones I think look so unnatural . Yours are fine.

Thanks. I don't like that look either. I am very much not use to seeing myself like this.

I had the same experience two days after you. I wish I had never considered anything this permanent. I looked on line and it looks like salt water will help release the color. I have been using it all day with a Q-tip and the color is coming off on the Q-tip. I put a lot of salt in a small amount of boiling water and then let it cool. From what I've read they should lighten up considerably by about 10 days. Good Luck!

Thanks. I took a towel and rubbed a bunch of the color out. I also used baking soda and water paste in a tooth pick to get the strokes that were too far over my nose. They have shrunk a bit. I am on Day 4. A lot of scabbing right now. I hope they keep shrinking. Good luck to you too! Keep me posted.

Hi! I of course did NOT read this before I went microblading this morning. Sigh! Mine are shocking. I think it's mostly the fact my eyebrows were sparse and gray, and now they're not! Tell me how the baking soda is working? Did you use the towel right after treatment? Is your pigment uneven from rubbing or baking soda? That's what I'm scared of is scrubbing and then getting uneven pigment or splotchy eyebrow color that makes it look like I'm missing chunks
April 28, 2017
The baking soda removed the strokes that were too far over. But it caused a scab and is red. My pigment was good until today. Day 6. The skin is now shedding and falling off and has faded substantially. Apparently your eyebrows will look sparse and color will come back. But I am not complaining because the tech made them too big.
April 29, 2017
Are you still rubbing at them? Do you think the outline will stay as it fades and just the strokes go away? Day 2 and I'm hanging in there but wearing sunglasses everywhere I go.
April 29, 2017
No I have not touched them since day 1. They are fading all over. But still too big.

They look great with the brow powder. Finger crossed they fade and heal well! x

PS - If the fronts are still a little pink try silicone gel in addition to whatever oils (rosehip, vit e etc) to heal the skin. I read someone on here that raved about silicone gel and how it can heal skin and prevent scarring after trauma. I didn't know about it before but it seems silicone gel and/or silicone sheets are what surgeons recommend for scar prevention/healing. I've never had any kind of surgery so didn't know.

I will look into. I am using Jason 32,000 iu vitamin e.

Can you buy it anywhere or do you need to go to a doctor?
May 2, 2017
I think biocoreum is supposed to be a good brand and that is from doctors. I haven't bought it myself though.
