I've been going to the gym and I've been eating...

I've been going to the gym and I've been eating healthy, but I still have a jiggle in the middle. I blame it on my new desk job and my new long-term birth control. This roll of fatty tissue would hang over my waist band 8 hours a day/40 hours a week! I am very content with the rest of my body. I'm 5'5 and 157 on a normal day. I have kick-ass thighs and big boobs so I don't feel overweight even though the body mass index says I am. I heard an ad on the radio for cool sculpting and thought I'd check it out. I had 4 sessions, upper and lower abs done. I thought it was extremely painful! I've given birth, been tattooed and pierced, too, so I can tolerate a lot of pain...but this was insane! A few days after the procedure, I told a friend that it felt like my belly was caught in a bear trap for a long period of time. I couldn't sleep through the night. After a week, I begged my doctor for a script of pain medication and I was put on Gabapentin for damaged nerves. This drug isn't fast acting like the Percs I had after labor. The medicine is helping, but I can't tell if it's just time doing the healing or the drugs. After 3 weeks, I can still feel a small, hard mass in center of each ab. That's where the pain is coming from. I can tell they are shrinking daily. Although, the pain is subsiding, I have several more weeks to go before I see my results.

Thank you for your post. Would you post some photos too? Be great to see the progression of your results!

Did you have the area massaged after the procedure?

Yes, the doctor massaged each area afterwards. I will try to post some pictures this weekend.

Things are looking up, finally!

Week 3: Lots and lots of itching. Belly was previously full and firm, now it's on the mushy side. I still have sore spots in the middle of each ab, but it seems that the crease between my lower abdomen and my pelvic region has smoothed out a bit. I haven't worked out in weeks, but today I'm feeling good enough to get back into the swing of things. Feeling positive.

picture #2 whats the lump?
May 3, 2016
Right after they pulled the head of the cool sculpting machine off my stomach. the lump is the fat that was being pulled, sucked, and frozen.

The white part is a gel patch they apply before the procedure.

I would like to see the updates on your procedure. I'm thinking of doing something with my jiggle.

Week 4

StephieBelko
Very small amount of pain now in those sore spots as well as some itching. Lost 2 inches and 2 lbs so far. Light excercising during lunch breaks. Feeling very optimistic that I my abs will look more and more toned over the course of the next month. New photo to be posted tomorrow.
