WORTH IT$10,000
I had 360cc textured implants over the muscle for 10 years. They became hard and my nipples were hanging at the bottom. They were ugly. Worst, I believed they were causing health issues. Finally, my insurance paid to have them removed. The PS said it was a mess because the implants has separated and scar tissue was 1/2 inch in places with sores underneath. Getting the implants out was the best move I've made!
I did agree to pay for a lift while I was under and because I was afraid I would look hideous I had 240cc smooth put under the muscle...bad move. I wish I did not get the implants. I'm still too large and going back to have them removed. I am 5'4". 119 lbs and I'm still a 34D.
The breast are still to high. Even though everyone says' give it some time, I'm sick of big boobs. I don't like the way they look in my clothes or naked.
So, my advice to anyone is get the textured implants out!!!!

Finale Implant Removal Scheduled for July22..I'll keep you posted.
AnnaaaaaJune 16, 2013
I have schedule the finale implant removal for July22. The PS is providing the procedure for free since he is the one who insisted on it. However, I will have to pay the bill for the OR and anesthesia. HE did offer local anesthesia for free but I'm too much of a baby for that so I will pay for general. He said it should take 30 minutes.

Good for you, Anna!! We really do have to be persistent and advocate for ourselves when it comes to our bodies. It sounds like it will be a big relief to you once you get rid of the fake!!

I almost went the same route as you and thought about smaller, but I'm just having them out. I've only had mine a few months even though I knew right away they weren't for me. I'm 7/19. So just a few days from each other we will be implant free!

Decided to leave the 240 saline under the muscle for now
AnnaaaaaSeptember 4, 2013
My doctor's had me convinced I would not be happy with no breast tissue and severe sagging breast after at age 60 and 120lbs, so I agreed to smaller implants. I was thinking of 180s but the PS decided on 240s. At first, I was very disappointed because I felt like I still had large breast and implants. My doctor did offer to remove the implants and or replace with smaller ones. As time went on and swelling left, I've decided to keep them and have them removed at another date if health issues start. The scars from the lift are fading and over all, I'm happy with results. I can wear any fashion now and don't feel fake. Also, I'm not in any pain and not having any health issues at the point. My only concern now is the implants may cause breast cancer detection more difficult.

Hello Anna, I also had implants, started to have health issues, got them out, then had a lift, my husband at the time was no longer attracted to me he said "you gotta have some boobs". :( So I got more in thinking there would be no more health issues since the old ones were silicone and the new ones were saline. But here I was with health issues for four years til the day I got them out 8/23. I think we all have our own journeys and all journeys are sacred. I hope you have a better experience than I did. I wish you the best! Thank you for sharing your story! : )
