I have always had wonderful breast, large 32D firm perky until I breast fed my 2nd child for 16 months. Now 37yo, 34C with slight ptosis from children and working out. I am enjoy HITT workouts, crossfit and running, so I Have descent chest muscles . I am scheduled for BA on 05/22/18. PS offered lift, lift with inplants or inplants alone. Truthfully the scar isn't something I want and the additional $5000 for the lift isn't in the budget. I would really like upper pole fullness, yes kinda "fake" look when I'm naked. Most swimwear don't look great bc they don't offer the upper fullness unless it had super thick straps.

Good luck tomorrow! What size and profile did you decide on? I wanted more upper pole and went with HP. I feel like I lost the majority of the upper pole when they settled, but they still look better than they did pre BA :).

My PS doesn't let me chose the size actually, you bring or send multiple goal pics, one to small and one to big. And while intraop he does internal sizers to see which one gives you the desire look. But with my desires I believe they will be close to 400 to 450 HP. I will update you tomorrow, if I'm not to out of it

At what stage of postop did you feel you lost upper pole fullness
I think your results are wonderful. I have heard of girls that felt they dropped sooner they switched to underwear pushup for 3-4 weeks 24/7, to ensure no more dropping.

Thanks. I think around 8 weeks is when I felt they had dropped more than I wanted.

That’s awesome! I’m scheduled for a BA for June 12th, the surgeon recommended a lift but I’m not ready to commit to the scaring. So I’m hoping just the BA will give me what I’m looking for!

I also was not mentally able to commit to a lift d/t scars nor the cost it was additional $5000. I save and paid cash for my BI. I went in knowing that I was border line they say at sterumen

At sternum to nipple 22, is where they start recommending a lift. Do you know your measurments? But I saw before and after pic my PS did on girls that he recommended lifts but only did BI and my girlfriend had the same only BI. So mentally I knew they would be larger in hopes to give me some upper pole fullness, and probably in 10-15yrs will need a lift.
PS gave me tips to ensure they stay high and don't drop as much. I'm wearing underwire 24/7, readjusting my breath up and repostioning my nipple where I want them, so the inplant will settle in that l space. I also didn't go super big bc more weight will saggy quicker.

It’s either 21 or 21.5. I have seen 4 ps’s and 2 say no lift and 2 say yes to the lift. But I’m going to try it without a lift and hope I’m happy with my results. Would u mind sharing your after picture? Also what were ur measurements?

I would NOT get life with a measurement of 21, unless you just have an extra $5000 laying around. Mine where 22-22.15. That is where they START to RECOMMEND, so I thought long and hard about it, and only did BI. I am sure in 15 yes I will need a lift but BI don't have a "chest"life of forever, normally bw 10-20yrs. You can see my before one my original post, I am only postoperative day 2 so swelling right now..but pleased with results. U will keep posting to update. What size are you wanting and placement?

Yeah I don’t have $5000 laying around lol. The ps recommended around 450. And Under the muscle. I’m going to kinda leave it up to him on what size...whatever he thinks will look good and fill up the skin.

My opinion also!! I work in health care, it bothers when patients "tell me" which medictations or doses they want. Your PS knows best, definitely better than our own knowledge regarding this subject. I would bring pictures two of your desire (that are realitic), one to small, one to big. And the PS can size you than. I "wanted" 450, my hub's said 550-600. Although we truthfully had no clue what that would look like on m body, when nake, and under the muscle. Ended up with 375, PS said he put 400 in but it looked like my "to big" pic. And now I couldn't imagine having that size. But what one size looks like on me is different compared to everyone else, even if our body measurement are the same. We all are beautiful and unique in every way!!

Exactly! I will definitely show him some pictures so he has an idea. I trust him, he also did my sisters BA like 6 months ago.

Day of surgery I cleaned the house and did dishes all be of leaving. Had my meds, and water at bedside for when I returned home. My PS does intraop sizing based on your desire size and goal pics that I bought in. I did bring in to small and to large pics also.
I got 375 silicone under muscle. He said 400 was to large for me and my desires.
After surgery came home and slept all evening and night. FYI: take pain pills with you for the ride home. I am sure my hubs hit every road construction and pot hole!! Took pain pill on the dot when they where ordered, along with stool softner.
I was slightly nervous that they appear to large, of course hubs doesn't think so. I know they are swelling also. PS put me in a VS underwire bra (surprised). It's very nice!! Plus the nurse gave me a boutique of flowers at discharge.
Post open day 1: going well, no concerns from PS, he did recommend me to not use the upper band any more if I want them to stay high. I want them high as possible d/t not getting a lift. Also continue with underwire but not a pushup bra as much as I can, he did give me sleeping sportsbra for at night also. They showed me some light massages to do to ensure no capsular contractor. I go back in one week.

Wow, you’re the first person I have seen that is able to wear a VS underwire so soon. Lucky you! I had to wear a sports bra for 6 weeks. It was frustrating trying to find things to wear that covered it up. I would’ve loved to have been able to wear a regular bra early on. Hope you have a speedy recover. Looks like you lucked out and didn’t get the “frankenboob” either.

PS said underwire will help keep them up, he told me to check where my nipples are and pull my breast up to mold them.

Wheeee. Laying down or getting back up was the hardest part/ most painful until today, it's is much better today.
Postoperative instructions :
Keflex 750mg (antibotic) twice daily postoperative day 1-3. It's a pretty high dose, so I am taking probotoic's also.
Bandage which is triple antibiotic cream and non adhesive dressing to incisions twice daily day 1-3.
Massage breast 3-4 times daily, and raise arms over head multiple times a day.
I am still wearing underwire 24/7, I had no problems sleeping in it. I am always readjusting myself, as PS said to pull the ladies and my nipples up to where I want them set. When moving around and durning massaging you can hear a slouching sounds (similar to belly grawling). It's fluid and air moving around and decreasing the edema.
I am still ice packing occasionally as it reliefs pressure for me. I bought these cute little circular ones. Right now I'm utilizing mutiple of them. I took pain pill last night but today I am going to utilize NSAID instead.
