WORTH IT$9,700
My vaser lipo is scheduled for tomorrow to inner thighs, outer thighs, flanks, and banana roll, no abdomen. I'm a very active weight lifter and boxer with loads of muscle, but have continued to put on weight in the last couple years despite dripping small amounts of body fat. I get regular DEXA scans so I know exactly where the fat is sitting and not moving. For reference, I deadlift about 300 and lift 5 times a week.
I am concerned about recovery because I just had lip implants put in, thinking they would be easy peazy, and it was the worst procedure I've done-so so painful! That was 4 days ago...I don't want to be in that kind of pain again tomorrow. I also hope the intubation during anesthesia doesn't screw up my lips.
I do have cellulite and am not expecting that to change. My biggest concern is those saddlebags and improving the appearance of my butt. My before pictures make me so depressed, I should have a better body than that.

After procedure
I was being put under right around 8:15 am and my husband got the call at 11, so it didn't take too long. Around 12.15 I remember coming-to and was in extreme burning pain. It didn't help that I have trouble talking with my new lip implants. The lips were also parched dry because they are supposed to have aquaphor on them constantly.
The burning sensation is extreme, and nothing really helps it. I mentioned I don't like narcotics (husband with addiction issues) but I have to give in for the fentanyl. I couldn't relax and was basically crying. No nausea though! I received two IV doses of fentanyl which *kinda helped, but they do not last long at all so they got me a Percocet also. "What do you want to eat? Pudding, ice cream or crackers?" "ALL of the above". I'm just so terrified of nausea.
Those all did the trick. They had also given me Zofran via IV because if my vomiting fear. I got up and walked 30 min later and man did I feel better. The burning started to subside. It's now 3.30 and the burning is gone.
We suggested dosing the Percocet 1 at 3.5 hours to keep everything at bay and I will take the Zofran as a preventative every 6 hours. I just hate drugs.
I was also super paranoid about my lips implants but I think everything is ok on that front. Time will tell if they got screwed up.
My doctor says I won't need pain meds after tomorrow so fingers crossed for that. It was not the case for lip implants! "Minimal discomfort" ya, right!!!
My garment stays on until a follow-up Thursday. Since I have a manual sports car, I'll probably definitely need a ride! In all, I feel good right now, especially compared to those lips. I'd the worst coming or downhill?

Day 3
I'm on day 3 and had my first check up. They removed the padding (I didn't have drains) and said all looked good. I was finally able to remove the garment and shower. The incisions now just have steri-strips on them but no stitches, as they were glued.
The horizontal bruises are where the foam padding ended and the blood pooled, I assume. I will get better pictures in the next few days, I was just very nervous looking at it all for the first time today. The bruising is hard to take.
I also have Factor V Leiden which is a genetic blood clotting disorder. I haven't had a clot but have been preventative in every measure (even did blood thinner injection the night of liposuction). My father has been debilitated by it, so it's a serious concern. This scares me with the bruises because how do I know if I have a clot? Mostly I just have to stay active, which I am.
