Almost 3 weeks

Started back light light cardio at 2 weeks. Only one incision was slightly giving pains, but this is a super easy recovery. Sorry for out of order pics.

Day 7

Everything seems to be healing well. Pain is minimal, other than my IV location vein which is killing me. I haven't tried on clothes since the changes are subtle and it's not like my clothes are going to magically fit better while I'm swollen and in these garments. That said, I'm happy with the curvature adjustments. $10k happy? I hope I'll get there. I'm definitely $5k happy now.

I know inner and outer thighs can take a while, and I'm willing to be patient :-) 2 L should show some difference. I just can't wait to get back in the gym and get some bootie gains again! Looking so flat.

33 YO, 5'8" 160 Lb, Vaser Lipo to Inner Thigh, Outer Thigh, Flanks, Banana Roll

I had this review in Vaser Liposuction but am moving it to regular liposuction. Surgery was pretty easy with only extreme burning post-op for about 2 hours. Not even fentanyl took the edge off, really. Since then, I was off Percocet on post op day 1, bruising is minimal.  I am a very active weight lifter and boxer. Pre-op I sat at 28% overall body fat and 160 lbs, gaining about 20 lbs in last couple years despite large amounts of exercise. For reference, I deadlift about 300 lb and bench 60 lb dumbbells, so lots of muscle. I get regular DEXA scans which place my trunk body fat around 23% and hips around 33%, which is why I ended up going for lipo. I really wanted to feel better in my clothes. The banana roll area is tricky but I trusted my surgeon, who I've used before, to contour it well. I had 2 L removed and no drains.

Overall rating

I have used him for two procedures: breast augmentation and liposuction. I cannot speak highly enough of this doctor in all ways: himself, his office, his follow-up, his technique, mannerisms. My results are hard to judge for the breast augmentation because I was a tricky case, but they came out as good as could be expected. Follow-up for that surgery was excellent. I am still healing from liposuction, but recovery has been a breeze. He gave me realistic expectations and honest opinions. His staff are so sweet, helpful and go out of their way to cross t's and dot i's. I've always been impressed. Lastly, I had lip implants put in out of town a week prior to seeing Dr. Caplin for a follow-up. He checked them and noted that my sutures needed to come out. He removed them for me. I could not be more grateful as I wasn't able to follow up with the other doctor and they seemed to be causing problems. He is not cheap, but it is totally worth the cost and I wouldn't look elsewhere for plastic surgery. I'll continue to return to him for all future procedures. Don't let cost be a deterrent, you'll be glad you came here.
