Tummy Tuck and Lipo of Hips Saint George, UT

I'm 41 years old, 4 kids. 5'4" 158 lbs. I'm not at the ideal weight, but am within 20 lbs of the minimum weight I've been in the last 10 years. I am tired of being mistaken for being pregnant and would like to not feel so self conscious about it. So I am looking forward to muscle tightening. I'm hoping for a flatter tummy.

I had my pre-op. The staff at Dr. Peterson office were fantastic! They went through and explained in detail what I will be expecting next week and gave me information sheets and my meds. They said that the best thing to wear would be a loose, light weight gown that zips up the front so that you don't need to mess with pants or shorts the first few days after surgery. I found one at Walmart for 15.00. It's ugly, but my 7 year old thinks its "really cute". They informed me that I would be sent home with a catheter, electric leg pumps, a pain pump and drains. I would have a follow up appointment the following day and have the catheter removed and another one three days later which is a Saturday to have the pain pump removed. They gave me prescriptions for antibiotics and pain meds to have filled before hand. They were very thorough with my Pre and post op instructions and gave me a handout explaining it again since most people forget.

I'm both excited and scared. I've thought about backing out a few times but read reviews and success rates to give me some. courage again. I'm afraid I will go through all of the pain and not have good results or if I could get down to 115 lbs I wouldn't have a tummy. Although I haven't weighed 115 since my early 20's.

We are here at the pool and I have my handy towel nearby which I use to keep myself covered when I'm not in the pool or a laying down position. I hope that this surgery will give me the confidence to be able to wear a swim suit in public with out feeling so self conscious.
