Hello there,
If you are reading this it's most likely that you are thinking of removing a tattoo. And, like many that decide to go for it, you are seeking more info on procedure and cost. I found this forum very helpful when I was desperately seeking real people sharing their story from beginning to end, while finding a professional place with the latest laser technology; which is why I decided to pay it forward with sharing my story. So, far I have had two encounters in Sac and I couldn't be more pleased. Today was day 1 of the Pico Sure laser treatment. I am a bit sore, but the procedure was very quick! And, so I am hopeful and motivated to see what the process will be. Amanda, at the office, did the 1st treatment and she was amazing!! When I went for consultation the first time, she told me to think about the removal before I decided to go forth with it. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I liked that she wasn't pushy and answered all my questions. And, when I saw Amanda the first time, it was shortly after I had gotten the tattoo. To be clear, I love tattoos. And, this tattoo quote is very dear to my heart...there's a whole personal story behind it, which is why I had mixed emotions when I entered this journey. I do have a couple other very small tattoos that I am keeping. The reason for this removal, is all me, I should have gone with my gut of going very small in size and font, but unfortunately, it didn't turn out as small as I had envisioned. The tattoo artist actually did previous tattoo work on me and I absolutely love the piece he did, it is actually my favorite. But the one I am removing is a bit more visual than what I expected. I am hopeful that once I go through the laser removal process that I can have a clean canvas, although I know there are no guarantees it will. So keeping fingers crossed, so here goes my 1st pictures before the Pico treatment. I will post one tomorrow after 24 hours have gone by. I hope that you find my journey helpful as you decide to enter yours.

So, today the soreness is to a minimal level. The tattoo is a bit irritated with some light redness. I have to admit the color purple on the tat is almost completely gone after one treatment. Wow! However it was a very light purple, so maybe that helped. I will add another pic at a week point to see progress. So, far feeling hopeful!

The place I went to is in Sacramento. It's Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery. The Registered Nurse that did my procedure is Amanda Knox. She is wondeful! :)
