I've wanted a TT since I had my daughter. Today is her 15th birthday.
I finally got serious about working out about a year ago, and realized I would get everything into shape and still be stuck with this disgusting middle.
I looked at my family and saw a bunch of women who all look several months pregnant, even those with no children. No thanks.
Did tons of research here and makemeheal and got my $ together and arranged everything.
I borrowed a recliner, scheduled 2 weeks off work and followed all the advice everyone posted regarding set-up of the recovery area, etc. So glad this site exists!

Full tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo:

I was prepared for a horrible recovery, but have had a great one so far. I am 10 days out today.
Coming home - hell yes, it hurts
Day one - I realize if this is the pain level, I am a-okay. Keep taking those pain meds every four hours!!!
Day 2 - now - every day I can do more, I get better, I feel stronger.
Day 10 - last of three drains out, belly button stitches out, took a nap in my bed for first time out of recliner, even got to lay on my side, yay!

Biggest issue I have had is the dumb compression binder my PS gave me (this one - http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.do?id=10225) - it just wasn't meant for my new hourglass figure. If I had known, I would have ordered on with more adjustable straps, like this one: http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.do?id=33107. With only two big wide straps it bunched and I had to adjust every single time I got up or sat down or laid down. Had to wear until my drains came out because even with the crotchless garment I bought for long-term (http://www.contemporarydesigninc.com/store/pid-195-sc-220-above-the-knee-girdle.html) the drains just wouldn't fit comfortably through the hole.

TIPS:
1. print out a medication dosage record to mark each time. Lifesaver for me, kept me totally on track
2. Drink tons of water, get up at least every 2-4 hours
3. Try sitting backwards on the toilet at first, it is way easier to balance yourself that way
4. Use chair in shower till you are 100% steady
5. Use a smaller towel to dry off, then use blow dryer on cool to really get incision, etc dry
6. The flushable wipes are awesome
7. Recliner!!!
8. tank top under binder

Thank you so much for this review. I haven't had my TT yet but I have a recliner question. How hard is it when you are getting up from sitting in the recliner? Is it painful? Are you able to push the leg rest down? I imagine that that pushing it down would cause pain. An I wrong?

Mine is operated by a lever on the side, and I could not operate it myself at first. After a few days of being completely dependent (maybe 3) I could just not put the leg part down myself but could bring it up myself. It's just the way mine worked for me. I was able to use my legs to raise it if it wasn't "locked" down. I also had a friend sit on the arm to stabilize it when I got in it for the first 3-4 days, then I could handle it myself

I used a tank top under binder as my skin became so sensitive to the binder. It definitely made an improvement . Out of the whole procedure , it was the binder that was the worst part .

Binders, spanx, evil torture devices...

So I have been on a mission to find something way more comfortable. I have been wearing the under breast to knee crotchless garment that zips on both sides and I feel like my skin is rubbing off. I wear underwear and tank top underneath but still every damn part of it is pressing into me and making me miserable. http://marenagroup.com/garmentstore/product/tabid/199/p-88-1st-stage-girdle-with-short-legs-and-separating-zippers.aspx

I have purchased a couple other things, like spanx, but I can't take them on and off to pee.

So I went to Macy's and found this! http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/dkny-shapewear-firm-control-jolie-nuit-open-bust-body-shaper-666112?ID=618702&CategoryID=225#fn=sp%3D1%26spc%3D9%26kws%3Ddkny%20shapewear%26slotId%3D1

So freaking happy! That middle part sucks it in like nobody's business and the lace lets my poor thighs and butt breathe.

Plus!!! I can actually wear clothes I already own instead of finding dresses long enough to cover my long garment!

Here are some new pics. I have lost an additional 8 lbs since surgery - I'm guessing because I am not eating packaged foods/restaurant foods and can't eat as much at a time. I know, my plushy is all in the pic - but I really could care less.
I feel great, but I get tired easily, so I am just not ready to start working out yet.
I only wear a compression garment during the day so my sleep at night is great. I think my body is just healing and it wears me out.
I'm so happy with my results, I only wish I had done it sooner!
