May 2019 Update -- 7 Cutera sessions

Hi all,

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post an update. I have told several of you an update is coming soon... here it is, finally.

I have now had seven sessions with the Cutera laser on my rib cage tattoo, with a few passes on my arm tattoos as well (previously treated 20 times with another laser at a different clinic).

My last treatment was 8 days ago, so it's possible the redness hasn't entirely faded. I do see some progress, but anticipate needing 1-4 more treatments. I also have not seen any improvement in the raised skin on the birds. The clinic I am currently attending is recommending micro needling to treat the scars. Anyone else have experience with this?

I am waiting three months in between treatments. My next treatment is in the beginning of August, after which I intend to wait about 6 months for the 9th treatment.

Hope everyone is doing well and happy fading!

Two Weeks After #1 Cutera

Hi all. I'm all healed up from my first Cutera Enlighten treatment on my rib cage tattoo. I'm pretty please with the fading so far! I wasn't expecting to see any noticeable fading after the first treatment, but I think I see some on a few of the letters like the capital "D" and the lower case "w" on the bottom row. It is too soon to tell if this laser is more efficient than the Q-switch, though. Sorry again about the quality of the photos... I can not get a clear photo to save my life. Might have to have someone else take the pictures next time.
The technician also did a light treatment on the birds. I think they've faded quite a bit on their own since my last Q-switch treatment in September, even without the Cutera treatment. But I'll still treat it here and there until they are gone :) I do wish the scars weren't there, but... oh well!
Happy fading!

Day after 1st Treatment with Cutera

Quick photo update after my first treatment with the Cutera Enlighten on my rib cage tattoo. Yowza it hurts to get a laser treatment on the rib cage!!!!! Not looking forward to doing it again in June. I’m hoping the red parts = fading ink :)
