$5,000
I'm 51 years old and am wearing braces for the first time to treat a severe overbite. My journey will encompass 36 weeks via 18 trays.
On day one I received the attachments and trays and proceeded full steam ahead.
So far, I've had pain and soreness along with a lisp that my dear hubby finds amusing.????
I'm reading everyone's journey for tips and am learning something new everyday.
Talk to ya later????

Hey I thought you were using another brand of clear braces? Like ClearCorrect or something? Or am I confusing you with someone else?

Tray 2....hope it's not too early
Began tray two today; 10 days after I began my first tray. Had to switch early due to ruining my first trays.
I tried cleaning the trays this morning by soaking them in a water, vinegar and bleach mixture for 10 minutes. The trays turned yellow. They felt okay on my teeth albeit a little off. So, I decided to transition to the second set of trays.
The second set fits extremely snug but not uncomfortable. I see my dentist next week. I'll be interested in hearing what he has to say about the trays.

I am new to this as well. I am on my 6th tray. I am not sure soaking your trays in a mixture of water, vinegar and bleach is a good idea. What I was told to do is wash my trays with unscented hand soap, then rinsing really well before putting back in. If you need to soak them, do it warm/cool water with a denture tablet. Be sure not to use water that is too warm. I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Tray 3 - Invisalign attachments are popping off; thinking of transitioning to metal braces
This is my second week of tray three and my attachments will not stay onto my teeth. Sometimes I'm unaware that the attachments have pooed off. I'm concerned about the final outcome after completing the 18 trays and the potential of having to wear additional trays.
I'm now considering changing to metal braces. Has anyone had this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I also have an overbite and overcrowded bottom teeth. I would say give it more time as truthfully the first 4 weeks can be torture and you have doubts. I have just done 19 trays been rescanned and on tray 1 of a further 15. You persevere and see results and no my attachments did not come off ( had 13 in total) and this round have 10. It's just time consuming to go back to your dentist to get them back on. Like me you want to see my improvement but it will come but takes time. If any help I drink darker liquids through a straw like cola and use retainer Brite always to clean them once every 2 days. Keeps them really clean and not stained.

Hi yes its tablets specifically designed to clean and brighten retainers. You pop one tablet in a glass of cold water every day or every other day with your retainers for 15/20 mins. I buy mines in bulk from Amazon as they are cheaper than your orthodontists.

Hi Amanda. Thank you. I'm so frustrated with the attachments since I'm in week six now. I'll try the retainer Brite.
