How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Had a collapse on one side of my nostril tip area that the doc had noticed during our last consult / breathing problems

I am too nice of a person and could not give a bad review until I realized someone else could be effected.
I'm not happy! My radix was never address and my tip fell on one side.
The surgeon does not put you completely out during the surgery (twilight) and I did wake up to him hamming and sawing on my face. I thought it would of been worth it (waking up during surgery), if my nose would of came out OK. I never mentioned any of this before because my nose was so swollen for so long, I could not see the final results. I have been struggling so much, I just thought I would never get on here again!
I had two surgeries with this surgeon and I still have many issues, including not being able to breath like I did before the surgery. I didn't want to leave a bad review even though I wasn't happy, but it's not far to others who might run into the same situation! I will be 50 before I can get my collapsed side fixed and my uneven radix address, plus my breathing. Never ask for your nose to be smaller, I thinks its never a good idea. I just wish surgeons would tell you that it might effect your breathing and opted not to do it! Not happy with many things! Please be careful!

Tip nostril collapsed on right side.

Now that the swelling is gone it is obvious something went wrong with my tip. I was told my radix could not be fixed so my bridge is still uneven, my sunglasses always look crooked and now my tip is off. The right side of my tip including the nostril has collapsed. It appears to be lower and off center. When I smile the collapsed side goes up more than the other side. When I cough it pulls downward. My point on the tip of my nose is heavier on the right side making my center of my nose to seem more left with a heavier right side. After all the healing, I am not happy. I have had two cyst on the left side of my nose, that show more now after both surgeries (because my nose is smaller). I was told we should leave those alone. I need to know if and how the cyst can be removed. My nose looked great when I had swelling! All I wish for is a somewhat even nose. I also need to be put all the way out during anesthesia, because I remember a lot of the surgery in "twilight state", and I am resistant to the benzodiazepines they give me for "twilight state", because I have been taking them for a long time. After the first night after surgery with no sleep and a large amount of benzo's in my system, I was up for 3 days. I had to be hospitalized, because of the lack of sleep. I'm at a loss on what else to say. I will not change my review because I know things can happen, it doesn't matter what doctor you see. But I am very depressed and not very hopeful at the moment.
