WORTH IT$550
I have had bags under my eyes for years but lately it just seems like they were getting worse and impossible to cover with makeup. I read a lot of mixed reviews on here and was very nervous to do it. My Esthetician has glowing reviews on Yelp so I decided to go for it. I am so happy I did it. Yes my eyes are still red and a bit swollen with more expected swelling in the days to come. I am icing and going to take it easy and elevate my head tonight. So far I am thrilled with the subtle but definitely noticeable difference. I am looking forward to next week when I can get a better idea of how all of the swelling will reduce and I can see more of a final result. All I can say is DO YOUR RESEARCH and find someone with not just medical knowledge but an artistic hand.

Shawna did a great job and I think she has that artistic ability to do fillers correctly (not heavy handed)

I love your results. I wan to do my hollows of eyes they are getting black. i have no bags yet. I just like yourself have heard so many mixed reviews and that Restylane is not to be used under eyes and for hollows. But look at you! I look forward to see your result sin 1 week :)

I think a lot depends on the person applying it and also if you smoke, or how well you tend to heal. Do your research :)

Day 3 - bruising

Wow I am looking scary on day 3, and just in time for Halloween..yay! I was warned that it would look worse before it looks better and indeed the bruising is pretty bad but I am confident that once the bruises heal it's going to look good. I have way more on my right eye for some reason. But I am still confident. There are no weird lumps and I don't think I look overfilled so once the swelling goes down I know it will look good.

Just to be sure I looked on this site and read that indeed about 2% of people will get a black eye. I have some DermaBlend concealer that I hope will mask it as it heals in the next few weeks.

Did you get syringes or the blunt instrument, microcannula? The latter which causes less bruising ,etc.

It was a regular syringe I think...it looked just like a needle you'd get any shot with. The bruising is healing nicely. Its faded already. The good news is I have no lumps or major swelling. None of the scary side effects you read about.

Its day 5 and the bruise had faded a lot. I am able to cover it with makeup and go out so it's not a big deal. I am happy with the results so far.
