A few years ago I had a terribly botched upper and lower blepharoplasty. I was very leery about any more surgeries after 3 procedures trying to correct the deformities in the eye area, but, I felt the jowls developing and my overall look was starting to have an impact on some of the things I do in my work (many public appearances, public speaking). I consulted with Dr. Green and 2 others, one who did nothing but face lifts who was referred to me as very highly trained at a prestigious university and was "so sweet." I am thoroughly pleased with Dr. Green's skill and the outcome of my facelift. I didn't select him because of his personality or how nice he was. I want a surgical outcome that I'm pleased with. I went to Dr. Green because I believed he would be able to perform the procedure and get an outcome I was satisfied with. And he did.

Did you ever get your eyes fixed from the bad bleph? I live in Sacramento also and need help fixing hollowed out eyes after upper bleph.

My problems were more about how my eyes each were a different shape and size after the bleph. I had three surgeries attempting to fix the bad bleph though none were very successful. The physician was an M.D. and ophthalmologist in Seattle and he was very skilled, it was just a difficult problem to fix. I had a hollowing problem above one eye which he temporarily partially remedied with one of the very delicate filler products but Dr. Silva at Laser and Skin Surgery Center in Sacramento was reluctant to repeat that injection.

I had several surgeries after the original procedure to correct medical problems that came about but the damage done created permanent deformities.

Happiness Didn't Last...

It has been 4 years since my face lift and 3 years since I had facial fat transfer. The muscles in my neck going back behind my ears is so tight, at times I feel like hands are squeezing my neck. Despite how tight the muscles are, the skin of my lower face is sagging, the jowls are returning and the area around my mouth feels very full and thick. The fat transfer procedure was done by the same doc who did the face lift. Within a couple days an abscess developed. In the treatment to drain the abscess, they had to press on and manipulate the area of the transfer. After that healed, the areas on either side of my mouth seemed to be pulled down, and the thickness of skin and tissue on both sides made it difficult to speak. I felt the fat had migrated but the doc dismissed the idea. He said the fat stays where he puts it, but I know now there are professionals who believe it can migrate. Since the condition occurred right after the fat transfer, and nothing else had changed, I believe it was in fact the transfer procedure that led to the problem which persists to this day. I work from home so I don't have to be around people very often, but when I do go out I am very self conscious about not being able to always speak clearly. Secondarily, the doc used fat from just below the navel. This tightened/reduced the area where the fat was removed which caused the skin above the navel to hang over, so now there is a flap of skin that hangs over the waist of any pants and bulges out in a form fitting dress. I sometimes use pre-cut KT tape strips to hold it in as much as possible. All in all, while I was satisfied with the face lift in the beginning, since the fat transfer things have gone downhill. We don't think about what could go wrong because we are so hopeful that we will get the results we want so desperately. Then when the outcome is bad and we are stuck with a situation that can't be fixed, it is just devastating.

yep when the outcome is bad we are left heartbroken and ashamed of what we paid someone to do to us. I regret having my surgery done. I did not need it but was convinced i did. Hugs I feel your pain. Dr almonte in roseville ruined my face and eyes. :( :( literally I cant even look in the mirror anymore.
