WORTH IT
I've had cervical headaches for 25+ years, started having worse neck,shoulder and upper back pain after a cervical fusion C5,6,7 so I asked my orthopedic Dr. if he thought it would help. He definitely agreed it would benefit me so I did it!! I was a 36DDD and I think I'll be a small C now. Happy!

Just an update, had my 10 day PO today and Dr. says they're healing so well I don't need to be seen for a month!! I can start using Kelocote scar gel and massage in the shower. Have to wait until next week to float in the pool but I can go to the gym again to do treadmill and elliptical machine. I can't find ANY bra that's comfy so I went to VS to see if they had a non-underwire bra. She measured me and said I was 36D.....I think I'll wait until more swelling goes down because I hope that's not correct!!

Hi, do you know how many grams were removed per breast? VS bras tend to run small. So what might be a D cup at VS would be a C or B cup in the more mainstream brands.

She removed 300 grams per breast, I feel like I'm really a C cup but I'm just going to wear stretchy bras until I'm 6 mos. post op, then I'll be sized again.

Do you mind me asking your height/weight? Your size looks similar to mine "pre" and I'm also having 300 grams each removed.

Please do!!! I'm a 36ddd hoping to be a 36d. My doctor is also taking out 300 grams each. I'm terrified it will leave me too small. He said he thinks I'll be a big c/small d, but if you will be a big b, that's too small for my frame... so I will be following your updates!

Well they aren't getting much smaller, I'm pretty sure I'll be a C cup. I'm taking pictures Thursday to post my 4 week PO update!

Probably department store brands. I just bought 2 sports bras from VS and right now I had to buy XL. They're very comfy too but I'm mostly wearing these stretchy bras I bought at Burlington Coat Factory. 2 for $9.99 and they're the most comfy. I'll post pictures of the best ones. My nipples are HYPER sensitive so I just can't wear any bras that are even slightly abrasive feeling.

Swelling has decreased significantly and I love the size!! The bruising is taking forever to go away and my nipples are HYPER sensitive. Incisions are healing well, I'm using Kelo-cote scar gel. It's not cheap but it works great!! I tried the Scar-away silicone strips but it made my skin peel so I had to switch to the gel. I have very sensitive skin. Still not sure of the final size, I'm waiting 6 mos. to be measured. In the meantime I've included pics of 3 of my favorite bras. The nude one $12.99 at Target, the orange one from VS $15 on sale (online), the black one is THE nost comfy Burlington Coat Factory 2 for $9.99!!

Ok so I'm 2 months PO and went to buy a few new bras at Macy's. 2 of them were 36C and one one 38B...I'm ecstatic!!! Bras run differently so I always try every one of them on.

The swelling has gone waaaay down, they aren't as firm. I still have numbness in my right nipple...I call it my lazy nipple lol

My doctor told me if I were self pay he wouldn't take out anything and would add a very small implant for upper pole fullness. My surgery is in 1.5 weeks. I'm really hoping to be a D (DDD now), but I'm fearful to be smaller than that. They are too big now, just want them a tad smaller. I think he feels much of mine is just excess skin, but I guess we'll see. I've been following you closely since your 'before' looks most similar to mine. Not exact, it seems really hard to find matching boobs :-)

Well I went to VS today and they have me at a 36C...I feel I should be 38 but I have to be honest with myself, I need to exercise more. To much extra stuff hanging over under my armpits. I should've gotten the lipo!! I think your Dr. is right about the implants, mine aren't as full on top as I'd like but I just don't want the extra weight of implants, all the shoulder and upper back pain is gone. I'm excited for you to have your surgery!!
