So far everything has gone really well. Dr. Hughes did a great job. I am now 1 week post op. He had to redo my left side after I was all done. So total surgery time was 5 hours! Way too long for boobs but if that means a great outcome I'm all for it!! I was really sore the first 4 days. I've kept up on my pain meds and antibiotics. Sleeping in a recliner is so much better being propped up in bed. My husband took the week off which was really helpful. I couldn't have done it all without him. My best advice is to take is easy and do nothing. Enjoy just relaxing and not trying to be superwoman. And stay up on your meds!

Glad everything went well I'm now 10 weeks and happy to say they still look good :) they look like they would be sore? My op was 3 and 1/2 hours with implants only so 5 hours seems good for what you had done I was told if I had a full lift it would be 9 hrs
Yeah I was pretty sore. I'm just now getting back to normal. I'm hoping just a few more days and I'll feel much better! He had originally told me the surgery could take up to 3 hours so I thought 5 was a long time!! I can't believe they told you 9! Yikes!! You need to post some pictures! I've always wondered what they would look like without the lift.

In Australia breast aug with a lift is about $18,000 I saw yours was about 11 can't even get just boobs for that
Holy cow!!! $18k? That is insane! I got mine a little cheaper because I went to a doctor that did it all in one surgery. The doctor that quoted me almost $12k was going to do it in two seperate surgeries.

I went to see another doctor (actually found him on here) and he recommend the lift as well. He said basically the same thing as the first doctor. So lift and implant it is!

So I'm now 7.5 weeks post op and would have to say they looking better than say 4 weeks ago everyone I've show they say there amazing and look so good and I'd have to agree :)
So at the stage I'm stoked I went with implant only. Very little scaring with great... ( hope stay this way) boobs
