Post op day 5 return to work

BAinFeb17
$6,800
I return to work half-day today from 7:30 AM to 11 AM. I was dropped off and picked up from work because I did not feel safe driving yet, due to poor sleep the night before. I had a bad case of insomnia and restless leg syndrome from stopping the Norco cold turkey. I did the math and realized I was taking 25 mg of Norco every day for four days. Prior to this I had never touched any sort of painkillers so I think this greatly affected me. Has anyone else had similar issues with stopping the narcotics? I plan on going bralette shopping this weekend. Pictures to come.

Hi! How you've been? Congratulations and you look amazing! Would you mind sharing if you are happy about the size? We have similar stats and I'm starting from nothing after breastfeeding 2 kids, I have surgery in 2 weeks and chose 300c mentor high profile due to my 12cm BWD...I'm so afraid they will be too large, but don't want to look small either. I realize you ended up with smaller implants. I'm so insecure, need some reassurance on the size. Can you please post some pictures of you now? Thank you so much, I hope you are feeling much better now and back to your routine

Would you be able to do an update? Would like to know what you think of your implants. Planning to get the same, and have similar stats... worried about the time it takes for textured implants to soften. Any insight is appreciated!

Any updates? How are they now? What size did they become?

Won't be long before you're walking tall and proud! I miss the first flush of excitement post op and watching for the changes. It goes so quick. I'm just under 6 months and both my bf and I have said they have just got better and better. Such an exciting time for you right now x

Your scars look amazing!! What scar treatments did you use after your stitches were removed?

My stitches were dissolvable. I started off using a cheap version of bio oil called rescue oil then it was just normal moisturiser:)

I'll have to invest in some rescue oil. You can barely tell you were even cut!!! I'm sure the physicians skills had a lot to do with it. But yours turned out so wonderful!!

Post op day 2

So today was pretty much the same. Norco, Valium, and Augmentin at the scheduled times. I haven't had a bowel movement yet so I think I may need some castor oil in me as a laxative. Incisional pain comes and goes but mostly the pain comes from the muscles under the arm pits, more soreness I guess. I have been watching mostly Netflix and sipping on chicken noodle soup. Thank god for no nausea. I had some ginger ale just in case. I forgot to mention that the doctor went with high profile instead of moderate because of my small frame the base of the implant wouldn't have fit in the small surface area he had to work with. I'm excited to get this sports bra off. I feel like it's tight. I'm feeling way less groggy today. Hopefully I can get enough strength to go out for a walk because staying indoors is killing me.

Walking is so good for the pain and discomfort if you can manage it. Also gets you back into normal life. Don't overdo it though, particularly the upper body stuff, lifting, carrying, even blow drying your hair can take it out of you. Honestly..when your body says enough it generally is x

I am trying to go for a walk later just to get my mind off of it. I will be carrying a 5 pound laptop, which I think I will be able to manage. Thanks for your advice and support. It's definitely help to have a good network of folks who understand ❤

Am sure you'll not get any grief from your laptop ;) was just thinking yesterday that the biggest issue for me was not being able to shave my underarms properly for a good 2 months!! It's funny the things that matter most that you take so much for granted x

Congrats! Monday I will be the 3 weeks post op for my ba! Everyday gets better! The bowel movement thing is not pretty took me seven days ugh! Eat tons of fiber. Can't wait to see them. I had saline Ideal Implants love them!

I finally caved and took some castor oil laxative. It was such a relief to finally have a bowel movement. My implants are still riding so high. I am excited to see what they will look like at 3 weeks post op. Did you deal with any muscle spasms? I don't feel like my Valium has been very effective unfortunately.
