I slept!!!

Just thought I would check in quickly as I haven't for a few days. Had the best nights sleep for ages last night, although still sleeping slightly elevated and with a neck cushion as so worried about rolling over and knocking it. Still really swollen from the front, so much that I think people possibly wouldn't realise I've had anything done. I know I need to be patient as I had a lot of work done, but big think that is easier said than done! In photos it looks enormous!!! Keep having to remind myself that it's only been 2 full days since the cast removal and it's very early on in my journey!!

Cast removed!!

Well had my cast removed today. So pleased with my side profile, no bump anymore. Still swollen from the front but confident I am going to see the result I am looking for. Just can't seem to get the surgical marker pen off my nose though!!

So tired!!!

Things are getting easier each day. Bruising now a lovely shade of yellow and swelling moving down my face and now around the jaw line. Cast off Tuesday morning. The only real issue for me is lack of sleep, usually an 8 hour person!!!

ugh, I have to ask, how s the whole no breathing through nose thing? ^ ^; I tried practicing, it's so annoying I can't imagine doing this for days~

I haven't found it too bad, just make sure you have lip balm and drink plenty (through a straw first of all) to avoid a dry mouth and throat. It will be fine.

Okay I have to say personally it's been the worst haha. I thought it would be fine but i wake up like every hour choking cause my throat is so dry. then i drink water and go back to sleep but its quite a pain. looking forward to breathing through my nose again haha.
